Safety Precauons
WARNING:
The AC adaptor is used as disconnect device and it should remain readily operable during
intended use. In order to disconnect the mains plug from mains completely, the AC adaptor should be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
To prevent re or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.Always leave sucient space around the product for venlaon.
Portable Cart
Warning
Should any objects or liquids fall into the unit, disconnect the power supply and have the unit
checked by qualied personnel before any further operaon.
The AC adapter and unit shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects lled
with liquid, such as vases, shall be placed on the AC adapter and unit.
Note: The marking informaon is located at the back of the apparatus.

Power Supply
USING AC ADAPTER
Usi ng an AC adaptor other tha n the one suppli ed with the unit may damage the unit. This AC adaptor operates on AC 120 V~ 60Hz.
To “DC IN 13V” jack
CAUTIONS:
• Before use, ensure the rated voltage of the adaptor matches your local voltage.
• The included AC adaptor is for use with this unit only. Do not use it with other equipment.
• If you are not going to use the unit for a long me, disconnect the AC adaptor from the wall outlet.
• Whenever the AC adaptor is plugged in to a wall outlet, electricity is running through the unit, even when the power switch is turned o.
• To prevent electrical shock don’t inset a Polarized plug into any outlet unless all blades can be fully inserted and unexposed aer inseron.

Playback via bluetooth® enabled devices
The unit can be paired and connected to the Bluetooth® enabled devices such as a smart phone. Note : You must disconnect the LINE IN cable and device from the unit when you are ready to
pair and connect your Bluetooth® device.
INITIAL DEVICE PAIRING AND CONNECTION
In order to pair and connect your Bluetooth® device for the rst me:
1. Press the Power buon to turn on the unit. Press the Fn buon to Bluetooth® mode.
• The Bluetooth® indicator light glows blue and ashes which means the unit is in Bluetooth®
mode and ready to pair.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth® device you wish to pair and connect.
3. Press and hold the PAIR buon on the unit. The Bluetooth® indicator light will start ashing
rapidly which means it is pairing.
4. On your Bluetooth® enabled device, search for the“RAS2866B2” in the list of discovered
devices and select it. It may take the unit and Bluetooth® enabled device a few seconds to pair.
5. When the Bluetooth® indicator glows a solid blue, the unit and the Bluetooth® enabled device are now paired and connected.
6. You can now enjoy audio from the unit.
• The unit can only be connected to one Bluetooth® device at a me.
• If your Bluetooth device (e.g. Smart phone etc.)need the PIN code while pairing, please enter 4-digit number: 0000.
RECONNECTING A BLUETOOTH® ENABLED DEVICE.
Bluetooth® enabled devices must be reconnected when the device has been turned o or the unit has been turned o.
1. Turn on the Bluetooth® device that has already been paired with the unit.
2. Press the Power buon to turn on the unit. Press the Fn buon to Bluetooth® mode.
3. Depending on your Bluetooth® device, your device may automacally connect to the unit.
• If the device do es no t aut om atically conne ct to th e uni t, pr es s a nd ho ld the PAIR button on the unit until the Bluetooth® indicator light starts flashing rapidly, th en s earch for the “R AS2 86 6B2” in its list of your Bluetooth® devi ces and select it.
4. Once the Bluetooth® indicator turns a solid blue, the Bluetooth® enabled device is paired and connected.
PAIR AND CONNECT WITH ANOTHER NEW DEVICE
In order to pair the unit to a new device, you must rst disconnect the currently paired and connected Bluetooth® device from the unit.
1. On the currently paired and connected Bluetooth® device, select the “RAS2866B2” from the
list of currently paired and connected devices, and disconnect it. Please refer to your Bluetooth® enabled device User’s Guide for direcon on how to disconnect a device. Or turn off it.
2. Follow the Inial device pairing and connecon instrucons above.
Radio
1. Turn your unit on by pressing Power buon on the unit, and press Fn buon to select the FM
radio mode.

Line in connecon
Connecng to line in for other sound sources.
You can connect audio devices such as your CD player or MP3 player to the unit via the LINE IN jack. To do this, connect an audio cable from the line out or headphone out jack of the other audio device to the LINE IN jack on the back of unit
Note:
1. We recommend you unplug the device from the LINE IN jack when not in use.
2. Line-in is priority.

Poor FM recepon. • Make sure FM antenna wire is fully extended.
Bluetooth® devices doesn’t pair with this unit.
No sound. • Make sure the current mode is correct.
AVC MULTIMEDIA ("AVC") makes the following limited warranty. These limited warranties extend to the original consumer purchaser and is limited to non-commercial user of the product.
One Year Parts & Labor Warranty
AVC products purchased in the United States are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of their original retail purchase. If the unit fails to conform to this warranty, we will service the product using new or refurbished parts and products, at AVC's sole discreon.
During a period of one year from the eecve warranty date, AVC will provide, when needed, service labor to repair a manufacturing defect at its designated Service Center. To obtain warranty service in the United States, you must rst call our Customer Support Center at 1-800- 506-5746 or 1-877-252-6873, during the hours listed in the box below. The deterninaon of service will be made by AVC customer support.
PLEASE DO NOT RETURN YOUR UNIT TO AVC WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION. New or remanufactured replacements for defective parts or products will be used for repairs by AVC at its designated Service Center for one year from the defective warranty date. Such replacement parts or products are warranted for an addional one year from the date of repair or replacement. The Customer will be required to ship the unit to the Service Center indicated at the time Customer Support is contacted to make the necessary repairs. The customer is responsible for all transportaon charges to the service facility.
Packaging and Shipping Instrucon
When you send the product to the AV C service facility you must use the original carton box and packing material or an equivalent as designated by AVC.
• Electrical interference in your home can cause poor recepon. Move the unit away from them (especially those with motors and transformers).
• Make sure your bluetooth® device is working properly. Make sure the source is Bluetooth® mode.
• Check your device’s manual for details on Bluetooth® pairing and linking.
• Make sure you’ve turned on the connected device, and music are being played back.
• Check if volume is set to zero.

(3) Warranes extend only to defects in material or workmanship, and do not extend to any

With the excepon of any warranes implied by state law as hereby limited, the foregoing warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranes, guarantees, agreements and similar obligaons of manufacturer or seller with respect to the repair or replacement of any parts. In no event shall AVC be liable for consequenal or incidental damages.
No person, agent, distributor, dealer or company is authorized to change, modify or extend the terms of these warranties in any manner whatsoever. The time within action must be commenced to enforce any obligaon of AVC arising under the warranty or under any statute, or law of the United States or any state thereof, is hereby limited to one year from the date of purchase. This limitaon does not apply to implied warranes arising under state law.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitaon on how long an implied warranty lasts, when an acon may be brought, or the exclusion or limitaon of incidental or consequenal damages, so the above provisions may not apply to you.
