Requirements:

Protect Components from Overheating
- Dorft block ventilation holes on any of the componenIs. Arrange the componenIs so that
air can circulate freely.
- Don't stack components,
- When you place components in a stand, make sum you aIlow adequate ventilation.
- If you connect an audio receiver or ampli[ier, place it on the top shelf so the }mated air
from it won't flow around other components.
Position Cables Properly to Avoid Audio Interference
- Insert each cable firmly into the designated jack,

A. Connect the audio/video cables. Connect the audio cables (white and red) to the AUDIO
IN iacks on the back of the TV (R and LiMONO) and to the Audio CYutputJacks on the
Satellite Receiver.
B. Connect the video cable (:y_:llow) to the VIDEO IN iack on the back of the TV and to the
Video CYutputJack on the satdlite receiver.
C, Connect S-Video cable (optiona{), Connect an S&_ideo cable to the S-VIDEO iack on the

Why You Should Connect This G-LINK Cable
"l}m (?-LINK cable enables tile GIJII)E Plus+ system (tile on-screen interactive program guide) to
work with your VCR and/or cable box.
Cable Box-If your TV is connected to a cable box you must conner* tile G-LINK cable to receive
TV program listings l)_r your area, and to rune direcdy to a channel when tile pt_gmm guide is on
your TV screen.
VCR-- If your TV is connected to a VCR and you don't connect tile G-LINK cable, one-touch VCR
recording won't work, The other f_:amres of tile guide wiIl work properly.
G-LINK wands
How to Find the Remote Sensor
You have to place tile G-LINK wands in _ont d the retake sensor on the VCR an_or c_le bo×.
Some cable boxes and VCRs have the remote sensor IN_eled on the unit, If tile remote sensor isn't
Iabeled on your VCR and/or cabIe box, you need to use the remote control that came with the VCR
and/or cable box to locate the sensor.

Placing the G-LINK Wands
