The Razer BlackWidow Tournament SE offers gamers a mechanical gaming keyboard
that delivers only the key gaming features to winning, in an ultra-minimalist and quiet
setup.

The core feature of the Razer BlackWidow Tournament SE remains its mechanical key
infrastructure, outfitted with brown key switches. Gamers are still getting crisp,
distinctive tactile actuations, rapid-fire responsiveness with every key press, and
advanced anti-ghosting – only now with silent key switches for quieter feedback.

Stripped of its numpad, the Razer BlackWidow Tournament SE layout is light and highly
compact. The macro keys have also been removed to adhere to tournament
regulations. This makes it perfect for gamers with limited desk space, or chooses to
carry their own keyboard to LAN parties and tournaments - the only keyboard they
trust to lay the necessary smackdown to winning. The braided USB cable can also be
detached for extra portability, and locked into place on the keyboard to ensure a

5. INSTALLING YOUR RAZER BLACKWIDOW TOURNAMENT SE

Note: You may skip Steps 2-4 if you already have a Razer Synapse 2.0 installed and an existing account.

Step 1: Plug the USB cable from your Razer BlackWidow Tournament SE to your
computer.
Step 2: Download the Razer Synapse 2.0 installer from www.razerzone.com/synapse2.
Step 3: Run the installer and follow the onscreen instructions.
Step 4: Register for a Razer Synapse 2.0 account and confirm your new account.
Step 5: Open Razer Synapse 2.0 and log in to your account.
Step 6: Wait until the software automatically downloads and installs.

6. USING YOUR RAZER BLACKWIDOW TOURNAMENT SE

Function Keys

Features Description

The audio volume controls allow you to

mute ( ), decrease ( ) and increase

( ) the audio output.

The media keys allow you to play/pause
( ) a track or skip tracks backward
( ) and forward ( ).

The LED control keys allow you to decrease

( ) or increase ( ) the brightness
of your keyboard’s LEDs.

The sleep key allows you to suspend all
operating system activities. This way you
can save electricity while the computer is
idle.

Pressing the “FN” key in combination with the function keys will activate their
secondary features.

On-The-Fly Macro Recording

Follow these steps to record a Macro:

1. Use the key combination to start recording.

2. The On-The-Fly Macro Recording Key will light up to indicate that the device is

ready to record.

3. Type in the keys you want to record.

4. Press FN + F9 to save the recording or the ESC key to cancel recording.

5. The On-The-Fly Macro Recording Key will start to blink to show that the device

has stopped recording and is ready to save the macro.

6. Press the desired key where you want to save your macro.

Gaming Mode

The Gaming Mode disables the Windows Key function to avoid accidental usage.
Furthermore, you can maximize the effect of Anti-Ghosting by activating the Gaming
mode function. You can also choose to disable the Alt + Tab and Alt + F4 functions by
using the Gaming Mode Tab in Razer Synapse 2.0. An indicator will light up when
Gaming Mode is active.
