Important Safety Instructions
Please read instructions carefully before operation
1. To prevent risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover from the unit.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel only.
2. Do not use the converter near water.
3. Clean with a dry cloth only.
4. Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase, built-in cabinet or in
another confined space. Ensure the unit is well ventilated.
5. To prevent risk of electric shock or fire hazard due to overheating,
do not obstruct the unit with newspapers, tablecloths, curtains or
similar items.
6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, etc.
7. Unplug during lightning storms or when unused for a long time.
8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly near
plugs.
9. Only use manufacturer specified attachments/accessories

Introduction
The Rasfox DAC1922 Converter will convert a standard digital audio signal (Coaxial or
Toslink jack ) to standard FL / FR stereo audio signals (RCA output jack) so you can
use it to connect the new media hardware (digital audio output only) to an older audio
amplification device with FL / FR RCA input only.
The converter built-in a standard 3.5 mm speaker / headphone output jack enable you
use it easily.

How to Setup
1. Connect DAC1922 to audio source with optical (or coaxial ) cable.
2. Connect DAC1922 to the speakers with RCA cable.
3. Switch the input switcher to “optical” (or “coaxial”).
4. Plug the output end of power adapter into the DC Power jack. Plug the power
adapter into an AC power outlet, then push the POWER button on. Your switch
is connected and ready for use now.
5. Connect DAC1922 to your headphone with a 3.5mm audio cable if you like.
6. Adjust the output volume of 3.5mm audio properly through the knob ( Notes:
please make sure to turn the volume down to minimum first to avoid hearing
damage.)

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
1. What audio format doee the Rasfox DAC1922 compatible with?
This device is compatible with PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) and LPCM . Not
Compatible with 5.1 Channel Signal (Such as Dolby AC3).
2. Does plugged headphone disable the RCA jack?
No, both the headphone jack and the RCA jacks are active. There is a volume
control for the headphone jack.
3. Why isn’t DAC1922 working?
Our converter have been extensively tested and work well. It is solid constructed
with a metal case and well packed for shipping, ensuring the product you receive
should be of high quality. If you have any problems, there are some common issues
that you should double-check:
1) Please make sure your optical ( or coaxial) cables and RCA cable are securely
connected to the converter and media device or speakers. Lose connection can
cause issues.
2) Ensure the converter DAC1922 is powered on and your input devices are
powered on.
3) Please set and make sure the output audio format of your media source devices
( TV/Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player) is “PCM/LPCM format” (please follow the guide in
user manual of your audio device).
4) Please make sure the position of the input switch is correct ( “optical” or “coaxial”).

Warranty
1 Year Limited Hardware Warranty.
Lakesen hereby warrants to the customer of record that this product is in good-working
condition and free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use for a
duration of 1 year after the date of purchase. The product has been tested to meet the
highest quality standards in each testing category. In the unlikely event that the product
proves to be defective, Lakesen will repair or replace the product free of charge. If
replacement is required and if Lakesen then no longer carries the same product, then
Lakesen reserves the right to substitute the product with a replacement product of like
quality and size, suitable for the intended use.
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the mentioned product only, is nontransferable and does not extend to any product damaged by misuse, natural disasters
or any other circumstances beyond Lakesen‘s control. The warranty does not cover or
provide for the reimbursement or payment of incidental or consequential damage
resulting from breach of the limited warranty described above. Except for the limited
warranty described above we offer no other warranties expressed or implied, and other
than limited warranty expressly contained herein, we hereby disclaim any and all
warranties, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability,
suitability or fitness for a particular purpose.
