Installation
Before you install the device, we recommend that you turn off all audio and
video equipment to avoid any unexpected popping noises.
When all the connections are fixed, you can then turn on the power of your related
equipment.
Making an OPTICAL S/PDIF Connection
Step 1: Please slide the switch at the side of the converter to OPTICAL.
Note : The Optical Fibre Cable is very fragile. Please take care when
connecting to your equipment. DO NOT BEND THE CABLE.
Step 2: Take the Optical Fibre cable (included) and connect one of the TOSLINK
connectors to the converter input labeled OPTICAL. Connect the other
TOSLINK connector to the OPTICAL Out of your audio / video equipment
or device.
Kindly note that the TOSLINK connector is specially shaped and
will only fit in one position. Do not exert unnecessary force on the
connector.
Step 3: Take the RCA to RCA audio cable (included) and connect one end to the
R/L audio output of the converter. Connect the other end to your stereo
system.
Step 4: Connect the barrel end of the USB DC Power Cable to the “DC IN” of the
converter and other end to any USB Port on your equipment or device.
Step 5: If you are using an external USB AC power adaptor (not included),
plug it into an AC wall socket now.
Step 6: Turn on the power of your connected equipment or device.
Step 7: Check the audio from your stereo system. If all the connections are
correct, you can now listen to the audio from your speakers. Otherwise
