INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pre-assemble the No-Drill™ base so that the seat leg mounting plates are connected to the base plate. Using the 5/16” black mounting hardware provided attach the two plates with the rectangular cut outs to the base plate. Note that the rectangular cut outs should be inward. Fully tighten hardware and set assembly aside.
2. To begin, the front passenger's seat must be removed from the vehicle floor. Slide the seat all the way forward to access and remove the two seat bolts found at the rear of the seat frame. This requires a 15MM socket.
3. After removing the seat bolts, slide the seat all the way to its most rear-ward position. On the side of the seat is a lever to recline the seat. Recline the back rest of the seat to at least a 45 degree angle. Next, lift the seat upward and pull back so that the front seat leg hooks release from the slots in the floor board. Be very careful so as not to damage any electrical connections under the seat.
4. Now, make sure there is clearance around the seat leg hooks. Once installed, the base should not be pinched in between the seat legs and floor board. You should be able to move the base slightly even after the seat leg hooks are re-inserted into the floor slots. If this is not possible, you will need to re-align the seat and No-Drill™ base and try again. Once the No Drill base has been properly aligned and the seat leg hooks are back in their slots, re-install the bolts at the back of the seat and fully tighten.
5. Now that the rear seat bolts are fully tightened, push the No-Drill™ base assembly as far back so that it is as close as possible to the seat frame legs.
6. Using the two T-shaped plates included in the kit, insert each into the space between the seat leg hooks. It will be necessary to insert the tabs at an angle as there is little clearance for these plates. Once inserted, press the plate down so the slots drop over the two studs. Secure the plates with the ¼-20 hardware provided.
7. With the ¼-20 hardware fully tightened, the installation of the No-Drill™ base is complete. If you are using a riser, it can now be installed in the manner that best suits your application. Risers are commonly installed so that they angle back toward the passenger side seat. Note that there are 4 holes located at the front lower center of the No-Drill™ base. For added rigidity, you may with to drill through these holes and completely through the vehicle floor board. Using 1/4” mounting hardware, nuts, and washers, secure the base to the vehicle floor. Make sure to inspect the underside of the vehicle to insure that you do not drill into any electrical wiring or tubing
