GET2 Tough Dock User Guide for Getac B300

(SINGLE PASS THROUGH RF ONLY)

The purpose of this document is to help you operate and troubleshoot your Toughdock.

Please contact us or your local RAM re-seller for further assistance if needed.

Operation

1. Place laptop on Toughdock, front edge first. Then use brass locating pins to align back edge.

2. Pull latch forward until lock engages. Turn lock clockwise to lock; counter clockwise to release.

Keys are coded to lock.

Use of wrong keys may damage lock.

LED'S:

* Power IN: Indicates 12-28vdc is supplied to Toughdock.

(Toughdock draws 3 amps from a 13.8V source to power

Toughdock and laptop)

* Power OUT: Indicates 19vdc is available for laptop.

POWER SWITCH:

Switched ON:

* Power is supplied to laptop and Port

Replicator from external source.

Switched OFF:

* If laptop is ON and docked, laptop

will supply power to Port Replicator.

Troubleshooting:

Ground

Problem:

Power In/Out LED's will not light and/or laptop will not charge.

Solution:

1. Switch power switch to ON position.

2. Make sure fuse is intact and properly seated.

3. Make sure power cable is firmly attached to power jack
and external 12-28vdc.

4. Remove fuse, and with voltmeter check voltage across fuse terminals. If polarity is reversed
Check all connections; reverse power cable if necessary.

the life of the component or part. NPI’s Lifetime Warranty covers the mount or its components only. The mounted device is not covered under the Lifetime

Warranty and will not be replaced if damaged as a result of mount failure. This warranty is expressly limited to the persons in the United States, and all

foreign countries who purchase RAM for resale or use in the ordinary course of the buyer’s business. This warranty does not cover any component or

part that has been abused, worn out, heated, ground or otherwise altered, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended, or used in a

manner inconsistent with any instructions regarding it’s use.
