Space-saving RAID
The iR2771-S3 combines two 2.5" drives into either a RAID 1 when a system failure cannot be tolerated or a RAID 0 when system performance needs to be improved.
Using the iR2771-S3 offers the possibility to use a RAID where it is not possible otherwise. For example as an external hard disk in a 3.5" case or if the existing PC
hardware does not provide a native RAID. The iR2771-S3 is therefore versatile and, thanks to its high-quality aluminium housing looks good as well .

RAID possibilities
RAID is popular because of its modes and their advantages which can be adapted to the requirements.
Either (RAID 0) higher transfer rates without redundancy or (RAID 1) to increase the failure safety. The
iR2771-S3 modules can be combined with external RAID systems to extend the requirements even more.
A growing family
The iR2771-S3 fits perfectly into the RAIDON product family. The carriers are easily and quickly interchangeable with other RAIDON carriers.
Cooling
With the usage of prime aluminium the SATA drives are protected and also cooled.
The cooling is passive via heat transmission to the the surrounding air and therefore pleasantly quiet.
