This DockingStation features 10 ports and solves the problem of ever-growing shortage of connections with thin note­books, equipped with a Thunderbolt™ 3 Type-C™ capable interface. This makes it easier and more fun to use notebooks.
Curved shapes in a high-quality aluminium housing, highest precision in production and ingenious technology are com­bined in one device. Everything to give the user the impulse: The workplace can impress not only with its effectiveness,
but also with its design.
With this DockingStation you can extend a Thunderbolt™ 3 host interface supported computer to more displays and USB
peripherals, Ethernet network, speaker and microphone through one Thunderbolt™ 3 cable.
Adopting PD charging technology, upstream charging function through Thunderbolt™ 3 interface, you can charge the
connected laptop at once.

Thunderbolt™ 3 provides connectivity with top speed and versatility. It has twice the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 2 and
combines data transmission, video output and power supply in a single, compact port. By integrating Type-C™, the fast
Thunderbolt™ 3 port has become even more practical since it can be connected in any orientation, making it a truly
universal port.

While Thunderbolt™ 3 utilizes the Type-C™ connector, not all Type-C™ interfaces support Thunderbolt™ 3. Please check
the specifications of your computer system to confirm which Type-C™ ports on your computer support
Thunderbolt™ 3.

Both the docking station and your connected laptop should now be receiving power.
Note: In order to power and charge your connected laptop, its Type-C™ port must support Thunderbolt 3™.

Install Driver

The necessary drivers for this dock will be installed automatically. For Thunderbolt™ 3 driver, please contact the manu­facturer of your computer for the latest Thunderbolt™ 3 driver or software.
Note:

• This docking station only supports Thunderbolt™ 3 laptops.

• Your computer will ask for authentication of the new Thunderbolt™ device.

Thunderbolt™ Authentication (based on Windows® 10)

1. When new Thunderbolt™ device is connected, the message will be at the bottom right corner.

Click “OK”.

2. The Windows® system will ask whether the user wants to allow Thunderbolt™ 3 make changes.

Click “Yes”.

3. User should see the window as below image. Make sure the connected device is “XXX-TB3”.

4. Click the drop down menu and select “Always connect”.

5. Click “Ok” and finish the authentication.

Connect your devices to the appropriate interfaces on the dock

Configure a display device

Please setup your display settings accordingly to your operating system and requirements. For detailed information, see
the corresponding operation manual and description of your operating system.

The number of displays that are natively supported over a Thunderbolt™ 3 dock depends on the design of the laptop. It is
not changeable by software or a Thunderbolt™ 3 dock.

Supported video resolutions

The DockingStation supports:

• 4K resolution via DisplayPort™ if the connected DisplayPort™ display supports it.

• 4K resolution via Thunderbolt™ 3 if the connected Thunderbolt™ 3 display supports it.

Video output table

Note: Video output capabilities are dependent on the video card and hardware specifications of your connected host
notebook. Certain graphic cards have limited support, while some monitors will also limit the output resolution.
Thunderbolt™ 3 supports DisplayPort™ Alternate Mode over USB-Type-C™. The docking station supports up to two
displays. The following table is the resolution supported for each port.

Hinweis: Damit Ihr Notebook mit Strom versorgt und auch geladen wird, muss dessen Type-C™ Schnittstelle Thunderbolt 3™ unterstützen.

Treiber installieren

Die notwendigen Treiber für diese Docking Station werden automatisch installiert. Um den neuesten Thunderbolt™ 3
Treiber oder die neueste Software zu erhalten wenden Sie sich bitte an den Hersteller Ihres Computers.
Hinweis:

• Diese DockingStation unterstützt nur Thunderbolt™ 3 Laptops.

• Ihr Computer fragt nach der Authentifizierung des neuen Thunderbolt™ Geräts.

Thunderbolt™ Authentifizierung (basierend auf Windows® 10)

1. Wenn das neue Thunderbolt™ Gerät angeschlossen wird, erscheint eine Nachricht unten rechts in der Ecke.

Wählen Sie “OK”.

2. Das Windows-System fragt ob der Benutzer die Thunderbolt™ 3 Unterstützung erlauben möchte.

Klicken Sie “Ja”.

3. Sie sollten ein Fenster wie im unteren Bild sehen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass es sich bei dem angeschlossene Gerät

um die „XXX-TB3“ handelt.

4. Klicken Sie auf das Dropdown-Menü und wählen Sie „Immer verbinden“.

5. Wählen Sie „Ok“ und schließen Sie die Authentifizierung ab.

Schließen Sie Ihre Peripheriegeräte an die entsprechenden Schnittstellen an.

Monitoreinrichtung

Zur optimalen Einstellung Ihrer Anzeigeeinheiten gehen Sie bitte entsprechend Ihres Betriebssystems und Ihrer Bedürfnis­se vor. Genauere Informationen entnehmen Sie bitte dem Handbuch und Beschreibungen ihres Betriebssystems.

Die Anzahl der Displays, die nativ über eine Thunderbolt™ 3 DockingStation unterstützt werden, hängt vom Design des
Laptops ab. Es ist nicht durch Software, Betriebssystem oder eine Thunderbolt™ 3 DockingStation änderbar.

Unterstützte Videoauflösungen

Die DockingStation unterstützt:

• 4K Ultra HD Auflösungen über DisplayPort™, wenn der angeschlossene DisplayPort™ Monitor diese Auflösung

ebenfalls unterstützt.

• 4K Ultra HD Auflösungen über Thunderbolt™ 3 wenn der angeschlossene Thunderbolt™ 3 Monitor diese Auflö-

sung ebenfalls unterstützt.

Videoausgabemöglichkeiten

Hinweis: Die Videoausgabefähigkeiten sind abhängig von den Grafikkarten- und Hardware-Spezifikationen Ihres an­geschlossenen Host-Computers. Bestimmte Grafikkarten werden nur eingeschränkt unterstützt, während einige Monitore
zusätzlich die Ausgabeauflösung begrenzen.
Thunderbolt™ 3 unterstützt DisplayPort™ Alternate Mode über USB-Type-C™. Die DockingStation unterstützt bis zu zwei
Displays.
