The enclosure provides M.2 drives an environment in which they can fully exploit their transfer rates. Thanks to the USB 3.1 (Gen 2) Type-C™ connection, data is transferred with up to 10 Gbit/s from A to B.

Connection required. The IB-1814-C31 is backwards compatible to USB 3.0/2.0 and also works
with USB Type-A interfaces, if the appropriate adapter is available. The full USB 3.1 (Gen2)
transfer rate can only be achieved with a USB 3.1 (Gen2) Type-C

Where is the cable?
Before the IB-1814-C31, we often asked ourselves “Where is the cable?” for external enclosures. This
housing comes into its own in day-to-day operations and workplaces where it makes sense to use devices
without cables.
Ready or not
…here i come with a Type-C™ port that can be hidden. This not only protects the USB port from unwanted
load, but also the data stored on the drive. In combination with the rubber feet, which at the same time
protect the surface of the desk from damage, we have thus focused our attention on a highly compact and
protected housing.
Is it already finished?
The copying of a huge amount of data is pending and nobody wants to devote their undivided attention to
the copying process. The integrated LED shows us in stylish blue whether hard disk access and therefore the
copying process is still taking place - so that you can concentrate on the important things.
