6. Reinigung des Gerätes

ACHTUNG

• vor Reinigung, das Gerät außer Betrieb nehmen

• aggressive bzw. scharfe Reinigungs- und Lösungsmittel sind ungeeignet

• nach der Reinigung sicherstellen, dass keine Restfeuchtigkeit vorhanden ist

• Reinigung der Geräte am besten mit trockenem Antistatiktuch durchführen

7. Entsorgung des Gerätes

ACHTUNG

Produkt nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden darf. In Übereinstimmung mit der Richtlinie über Elektro­und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) darf dieses Elektrogerät und ggf. enthaltene Batterien nicht im normalen
Hausmüll oder dem Gelben Sack entsorgt werden. Wenn Sie dieses Produkt und ggf. enthaltene Batterien
entsorgen möchten, bringen Sie diese bitte zur Verkaufsstelle zurück oder zum Recycling-Sammelpunkt Ihrer

4. Hazards caused by very small parts and packaging

LED Indikator / LED indicator

Links neben der Tür auf der Vorderseite gibt es eine Statusanzeige mit zwei LEDs. 1x Power LED und
1x Aktivitäts LED
Power LED blau leuchtend = IB-167SSK ist mit Strom versorgt
Access LED orange blinkend = Auf die eingesetzte Festplatte wird zugegriffen

On the left side of the front you´ll find a LED indicator with 2 LEDs. 1x power LED and 1x activity LED
Power LED is blue illuminated = IB167SSK is receiving power
Activity LED is orange blinking = The inserted hard disk is accessed

Installation / installation

1. Schalten Sie Ihren Computer und alle damit verbundenen Geräte oder Peripheriegeräte aus.

2. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel von der Rückseite Ihres Computers ab.

3. Trennen Sie alle Peripheriegeräte, die an Ihren Computer angeschlossen sind.

4. Öffnen Sie Ihr Computergehäuse. Weitere Informationen darüber, wie Sie dies tun können,
finden Sie in der Dokumentation, die mit Ihrem Computersystem geliefert wurde.

5. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung eines 5,25"-Laufwerksschachtes.

6. Stecken Sie die IB-167SSK in den Laufwerksschacht und achten Sie darauf, dass die Schrauben­löcher an den Laufwerken anliegen.

7. Verwenden Sie bei Bedarf die mitgelieferten Schrauben, um den IB-167SSK am Laufwerks­schacht zu befestigen.

8. Führen Sie einen der folgenden Schritte aus, um das mobile Gestell an die Stromversorgung des
Computers anzuschließen

Lieferung:

- Schließen Sie das SATA 15-Pin-Kabel an den SATA-Stromanschluss des IB-167SSK an

- Schließen Sie das 4-Pin-Kabel an den Molex-Stromanschluss des IB-167SSK an

9. Verbinden Sie das SATA 7-Pin Datenkabel mit dem SATA Data 7-Pin Anschluss der IB-167SSK.
und an einen SATA-Anschluss auf dem Computer-Motherboard oder der Steuerkarte.

10. Setzen Sie die Abdeckung wieder auf Ihr Computergehäuse.

11. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel wieder an die Rückseite Ihres Computers an.

12. Schließen Sie alle Geräte oder Peripheriegeräte, die an Ihren Computer angeschlossen waren,
wieder an.

13. Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein.

1. Turn off your computer and any devices or peripherals that are connected to it.

2. Unplug the power cable from the back of your computer.

3. Disconnect any peripheral devices that are connected to your computer.

4. Open your computer case. For more information about how to do this, consult
the documentation that came with your computer system.

5. Remove the cover of a 5.25” drive bay.

6. Insert the IB-167SSK into the drive bay slot, making sure that the screw holes on
the IB-167SSK are aligned with the holes in the drive bay.

7. If necessary, use the provided screws to secure the IB-167SSK to the drive bay.

8. Do one of the following to connect the mobile rack to the computer’s power
supply:

- Connect the SATA 15 pin cable to the SATA power connector on the IB-167SSK

- Connect the 4 pin cable to the 4 pin Molex power connector on the IB-167SSK

9. Connect the SATA 7 pin data cable to the SATA data 7 pin connector on the IB-167SSK
and to a SATA port on the computer motherboard or controller card.

10. Place the cover back onto your computer case.

11 . Reconnect the power cable to the back of your computer.

12. Reconnect any devices or peripherals that were connected to your computer.

13. Turn on your computer.

Installieren einer Festplatte / Install a hard drive

Achtung! Laufwerke sollten vorsichtig gehandhabt werden, besonders wenn Sie sie transportieren.
Wenn Sie nicht auf Ihre Laufwerke achten, können Daten verloren oder beschädigt werden.

1. Öffnen Sie die Tür am IB-167SSK.

2. Positionieren Sie die Festplatte so, dass das Etikett nach oben zeigt und die Rückseite der Festplat­te auf das Innere des Computers gerichtet ist.

3. Schieben Sie die Festplatte vorsichtig in das IB-167SSK, bis sich die Tür zu schließen beginnt.

4. Schließen Sie die Tür am Gerät und vergewissern Sie sich, dass sie geschlossen ist.

Achtung! Schließen Sie die Tür am Wechselrahmen nicht gewaltsam. Wenn Sie beim Schließen der Tür
auf Widerstand stoßen, könnte die Festplatte falsch eingesetzt sein. Entfernen Sie die Festplatte und
vergewissern Sie sich, dass sie richtig eingesetzt ist.

Warning! Drives should be handled carefully, especially when you transport them. If you’re not careful
with your drives, you may experience lost or corrupted data.

1. Open the door on the IB-167SSK.

2. Position the hard drive so that the label faces upwards and the rear panel of the hard drive is
aimed towards the inside of the computer.

3. Gently push the hard drive into the IB-167SSK until the door begins to close.

4. Close the door and make sure that it is shut.

Warning! Do not forcibly close the door on the mobile rack. If you encounter resistance when you try to
close the door, the hard drive could be inserted incorrectly. Remove the hard drive and make sure that
it’s inserted correctly.

Entfernen einer Festplatte / Remove a hard drive

Achtung! Wenn die Aktivitäts-LED an der Vorderseite des mobilen Gestells blinkt, entriegeln Sie das mo
bile Gestell nicht. Warten Sie, bis die LED nicht mehr blinkt, und entriegeln Sie dann das mobile Rack
und entfernen Sie die Festplatte.

1. Stecken Sie den mitgelieferten Schlüssel in das Sicherheitsschloss und drehen Sie den Schlüssel
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn um 90°, um das IB-167SSK zu entriegeln und auszuschalten. Ziehen
Sie dann den Schlüssel ab.

2. Öffnen Sie die Tür am IB-167SSK und vergewissern Sie sich, dass sie nicht im Weg von der
Festplatte ist.

3. Ziehen Sie die Festplatte langsam aus dem IB-167SSK heraus.

4. Schließen Sie die Tür.

Hinweis

1. Die Festplatte ist ein Präzisionsgerät, bitte lesen Sie das HDD-Handbuch vor der Verwendung.

2. Drücken Sie die Tür nicht gewaltsam zu, falls die Festplatte falsch eingebaut wurde. Es könnte
ansonsten zu einer Beschädigugn am Festplattengehäuse kommen.
Bitte entriegeln Sie den Wechselrahmen nicht im Arbeitszustand. Bitte schalten Sie zuerst den
Computer aus und entsperren Sie dann den Wechselrahmen, wenn es sich um das Betriebssys­temlaufwerk handelt.

3. Achten Sie auf die Temperatur, da das Laufwerk eine Temperatur von bis zu 50°C erreichen
kann.

4. Wir bieten Reparaturservice für defekte Produkte an, aber übernehmen keine Verantwortung für
Datenverlust, der durch manuelle Bedienungsfehler verursacht wird.

Warning! If the activity LED on the front of the mobile rack is blinking, do not unlock the mobile rack.
Wait until the LED stops blinking and then unlock the mobile rack and remove the hard drive.

1. Insert the provided key into the security lock and turn the key counterclockwise 90° to unlock and
power off the IB-167SSK. Then remove the key.

2. Open the door on the IB-167SSK and make sure that it’s out of the way of the hard drive.

3. Slowly pull the hard drive out of the IB-167SSK.

4. Close the door.

Note

1. Hard drive is a precision device, please read the HDD manual in advance before use.

2. Do not force to close the door if the HDD was installed incorrectly, or the enclosure will be
damaged.

3. Please do not unlock the mobile rack during working condition. Please power o¬ff the computer
first and then unlock the mobile rack if it is the OS drive.

4. Be aware of the heat since the drive may reach temperature up to 50°C.

5. We provide repair service for defective product, and do not take responsibility for data loss that
caused by manual operation mistake.
