
Chronograph ‘DiaMaster’ (mini)
You have acquired a chronograph that unites ageless design and ultramodern technology in an exceptional timepiece – reliable, scratchproof
and water-resistant to a depth of 30 metres (98 ft), just as one is accustomed to from Rado watches. The chronograph functions are easy to
operate and enable time measurements accurate to 1⁄10th of a second.

Intermediate time (SPLIT)
Start
First intermediate time
1st push: the first intermediate time can be
read off.
2nd push: the chronograph hands return
to the running time.
For further intermediate times, repeat this
procedure.
Stop
The total time can be read off.

Tachymeter scale
The basic unit is a distance of 1 kilometer or
1 mile. The time taken to travel this distance
gives the average speed in km/h or mph.

Re-adjusting the chronograph hands
After a battery change it may happen that
the chronograph hands do not return
to zero. This can be corrected as follows:
Pull out crown one notch (position 1).
Reset the 30-minute counter hand to zero.
Pull the crown fully out (position 2).

then pull the crown fully out (position 2).
Hands:
Turn the crown clockwise or anticlockwise to
adjust the hands to the desired time.
The date changes at midnight.
Push crown back in to its basic position
(position 0).

The hours can be adjusted without affecting
the running minutes and seconds.
Pull the crown out one notch (position 1).
Turn the crown clockwise or anticlockwise
to set the desired hour.
The date changes at midnight.
Push crown back in to its basic position
(position 0).
Important:
Push the crown back in to its basic position (position 0) after every
manipulation. Doing this protects the watch against the penetration
of dirt and water.

Battery
The end of the battery’s life is indicated by the second hand making
4-second jumps. Your watch will continue to run for a few days
but you should have the battery changed as soon as possible by your
Rado retailer.
We recommend that you have the watch tested for waterresistance at the same time.
