VHF and FM reception.

scratch a TV cabinet.
Connecting and Operating the Antenna
1. Place the antenna on top of the TV set or near the FM receiver.
2. If your receiver has a 75- ohm FM connector, screw the antenna's cable F-connector onto the TV's antenna terminals or your FM receiver's antenna terminals. Then turn the connector clockwise to tighten and secure the connection.
Note:
If your receiver has a 300ohm twin-lead connector, you need an optional adapter (available at your local RadioShack store). Screw the a dap ter onto t he antenna cable. Then tighten and
secure the adapter's lead to the TV's antenna terminals or receiver's FM terminals.
3. Individually adjust the length and position of the antenna rods to get the best reception.
Note:
Some rooms have dead spots, or null points, where no TV signals can be received. If the reception is poor, move the antenna for maximum performance.
For the best VHF/FM recept ion, extend the antenna rods as follows:
• Channels 7–13:
1
/4 to fully extended
• FM Stations:
3
/4 to fully extended
For the best UHF reception, rotate the antenna base.
