Notes:
• Static charge might not be completely eliminated, depending on the humidity, the strength of the static charge, and the material of your clothing.
• For the best performance, keep a firm grip on both the keychain and the metal contact button.
Using the Keyhole Finder
Press the green button on the back cover to turn on the keyhole light. Release the button to turn off the light.
Replacing the Battery
Your Static Discharger Key Chain comes installed with one CR2032 battery for the keyhole light. When the light dims, replace the battery. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend a RadioShack lithium button-cell battery.
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws of the back cover, then remove the cover.
Using the Static Discharge
1. Hold the metal contact rod at the base of the keychain and touch the metal contact button on the back cover.
2. Touch the front metal pin to any metal object, such as a door knob, to discharge static electricity from the object.
2. Remove the old battery and insert a new one into the battery compartment with its positive side up.
3. Replace the cover and secure it with the screws.
