Using a small
screwdriver, set the House Code dial of the receiver to the desired letter.
Plug the receiver
into an AC outlet, and then fully extend the receiver’s antenna.
Remove one or more tags from the supplied card and write the appropriate information (lamp, fan, etc) on each one. Remove the plastic cover from each key and place a tag under each cover. Replace the cover when finished.
Thank you for purchasing the RadioShack Home Automation Remote Control Wall Switch. Your remote control system includes an ultra-slim, stick-on RF wall switch and a Plug ‘n Power receiver. Using the wall switch, you can operate three individually-coded Plug ‘n Power modules and brighten or dim lights connected to lamp modules and wall switch modules. You also can control lamps and appliances attached to other Plug ‘n Power devices, which are available at your local RadioShack store.
Plug the desired lamp or appliance into the
receiver.
Your transmitter comes with one CR2032 lithium battery installed. When your lamp or appliance does not respond to the transmitter’s command, replace the battery.
Pull out and remove the battery holder at the bottom of the wall
switch.
Insert a new lithium battery with its positive (+) side facing up. Replace the battery holder.
Battery Cautions:
• Keep button-cell batteries away from children. Swallowing a button-cell battery can be fatal.
• Dispose of the old battery promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury it.
• Use only a fresh battery of the required size and recommended type.
Your wall switch comes with an adhesive backing to easily mount on a flat surface.
Select a mounting location. Make sure the wall switch operates the
receiver before permanently placing it.
Remove the adhesive backing from
the wall switch and press it against the mounting surface.

The wall switch is preset to house code A. The first three rocker keys on your wall switch are preset to control modules that are set to unit codes 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The last one brightens or dims lights connected to lamp and wall switch modules.
Hold down the first ON rocker key for about
three seconds and release it. The LED blinks to indicate the current setting - once for house code A, twice for house code B, and three times for house code C.
Press ON the appropriate number of times
to correspond with the desired setting. For
ON rocker key
example, press once for setting A, twice for setting B, and so on.
Hold down ON for three
seconds on your last press. The LED blinks the new house code setting. If it does not, repeat the programming sequence.

Press ON or OFF to control the lamps and appliances
that correspond to your module’s unit codes.
To brighten or dim your lights, press the rocker key
that corresponds to the module’s unit code, and then press the last rocker key (BRIGHT/DIM).
Caution: Do not use your wall switch with an unattended coffee pot or heater. This may cause a serious fire hazard.
