Thank you for purchasing a RadioShack 2-Way Portable Amplified Speaker System. Your speakers are specially designed for use with computer multimedia systems. The speakers’ magne tic shi eld in g all ow s you to pl ace them next to your PC’s monitor without causing picture distortion.
The speakers also transform your portable CD, MP3, personal cassette player, or radio into a complete music system. The speakers are compatible with any audio source that has a
BASS and TREBLE — let you adjust the speakers’ low and high frequency response to enhance or decrease the sound.

speakers for a week or more, or if you will be using only AC or vehicle battery power, remove the batteries from each speaker.

You can power your speakers from internal batteries, standard AC power, or vehicle battery power.

You can power the speakers with eight C batteries (four in each speaker, not supplied). For the best performance and longest life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline batteries.

• Always dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
• You must use a (Class 2 for AC) power source that supplies 12V DC and delivers at least 600mA. Its center tip must be set to positive and its plug must fit the speakers's jack. Using an adapter that does not meet these specifications could damage the speakers or the adapter.
• Always connect the adapter to the speakers before you plug it into the power source, and unplug the adapter from the power source before you unplug it from the speakers.
• To protect your hearing, set
