CHARGING BA TTERIES
Notes:
• The batteri es m ust be fully dis charged before chargi ng.
• It is normal for batteries to become warm while charging.
1. Plug the charger into a standard AC outlet.
2. Lift the tab on the right side of the charger cover and open the cover.

To charge two AA or AAA batteries
4. place them in the two left or right chambers. Match the polarity symbols (+ and –) on each battery to the polar­ity symbols inside each chamber. or

To charge four AA or AAA batteries
place them in all four chambers, matching the polarity symbols (+ and –) on each battery to the polarity sym­bols inside each chamber. and

AAA batteries at the same time, but be sure all four are the same type (Ni­Cd or Ni-MH). Place the two AAA bat­teries in the left chambers and the AA batteries in the right chambers.
The charging timer begins when 2 batteries are loaded in one of the chambers. Batteries loaded subse­quently might not be fully charged.
To charge a 9-volt battery
, simply con­nect it to the battery terminal in the rightmost chamber.
