Thank you for purchasing a RadioShack Fast Charger Combo Pack. Your charger can charge
2 or 4 AA batteries. The charger comes with four 1800mAh Ni-MH AA batteries. Its universal
100- 240 V AC input with foldable plug is perfect for travelling.

This manual contains important safety and
operation instructions for your battery
charger. Before using your charger, read all
instructions and cautionary markings on the
charger, the batteries to be charged, and the
product that uses the batteries.
• Charge only rechargeable Ni-Cd or NiMH batteries battery packs with this
charger. Other types of batteries might
burst, causing personal injury.

Be sure all batteries are correctly installed
according to polarity before powering the
charger.

• Itis normal for the batteries to become warm
while charging.
• Charge the batteries in a location that is
between 32° and 113° F(0° –45° C).Ifthe
location is too cold, the batteries can
permanently lose their ability to charge.If the
location is too warm, the batteries will not be
fully charged.
• You cannot charge different battery types
(Ni-Cd or Ni-MH), different capacity batteries
at the same time.
• If you only charge two AA batteries, place
them in the same charging chamber.
• If the CHARGING lights do not turn on,
unplug the charger, remove the batteries,
and clean their contact surfaces. Then
reinstall the batteries and plug in the
charger. If the problem persists, the charger
may be faulty. Take the charger to your local
RadioShack store.
• If the CHARGING light flashes, one or more
of the batteries maybe defective, shorted, or
an alkaline battery. Replace the battery.
• If the CHARGING light turns off after several
seconds, the batteries may be fully charged,
or alkaline batteries.
This product is warranted by RadioShack against manufacturing defects
in material and workmanship under normal use for ninety (90) days from
the date of purchase from RadioShack company-owned stores and authorized RadioShack franchisees and dealers. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other

CHARGING BATTERIES
1. Lift the battery compartment cover from
the left side and place 2 or 4 AA
batteries into the battery compartment
according to the polarity symbols

of the charger and plug it into an AC
outlet. The red CHARGING lights turn

When the batteries are fully charged, the
CHARGING light turns off. Unplug the
charger and remove the batteries.

CARE
Keep the charger dry; if it gets wet, wipe it
dry immediately. Use and store the charger
only in normal temperature environments.
Handle the charger carefully; do not drop it.
Keep the charger away from dust and dirt,
and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to
keep it looking new.
SERVICE AND REPAIR
Ifyourchargerisnotperformingas itshould,
take it to your local RadioShack store for
assistance. Modifying or tampering with the
charger’s internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate its warranty
and void your FCC authorization to
operate it.
