This antenna should be supported with rope or other non-conductor.
The Ladder Line should come away from the at-top at a right angle for at least 15 feet.
The antenna can be erected as an inverted vee (120º minimum included angle).
Use a piece of heat-shrinkable tubing for weather-proong your PL-259 coax plug.
A suitable antenna tuner will permit operation on all bands 160 through 10 meters.
The G5RV Jr. Functions as follows:
1.8-2.0 MHz A half-wave dipole folded up at the center.
3.5-4.0 MHz A colinear array with 2 half-waves fed in-phase.
7 .0-7.3 MHz A center-fed long wire, 3 half-waves fed out-of-phase.
14.0-14.4 MHz Two full-wave anteffra$ fed in-phase.
18.0 MHz A 5 half-wave long wire.
21124 MHz Two long-wire antennas, each 3 half-waves, fed in-phase.
28./29.7 MHz A seven half-wave long wire antenna.
