TANKDRIVERSPRING REVERB STUDIO INTERFACE
The TankDriver is a device that lets you use the spring reverb that is sitting at the bottom of your guitar amp like a full-blown studio effect! Optimized for use with these fi nicky circuits, the T ankDriver brings the exciting tone and character of a spring reverb to your mix station to create lush, long effects that are simply unattainable using digital technology . Features include a drive control for low sensitivity reverb tanks, high and low EQ controls, and a wet-dry blend control that lets you quickly set the balance between the original track and the reverb effect. Front panel ¼” connectors make it easy to connect to guitar amplifi er reverb tanks and bring the signal back to your recording system.
FULL ENCLOSURE - 100% steel casing reduces magnetic interference from other nearby modules that may cause pollution.
BLEND - Sets the balance between the original dry signal and the wet signal received from the reverb tank.
DRIVE - Increases the output going to the reverb for less sensitive reverb tanks.
APPLICATIONS
• Lets you use your guitar amp’s reverb tank
• Adds the excitement of old school springs
• Creates lush ultra-analog effects
• Works in all ‘Lunchbox’ style racks
COOL FACTORS
• There is nothing cooler than spring reverb!
• Front panel i/o jacks for easy connectivity
• Shimmer & boom controls... that’s cool!
• Army fatigue paint job... sneaky!
TankDriver
Tank Input Tank Output
OMNI INSERT - Sends the signal to the Omniport TRS on the Workhorse which in this case is a send & receive insert jack.
SHIMMER - Increases the high frequency tone of the wet reverb signal.
BOOM - Increases the low frequency tone of the wet reverb signal.
SEND - ¼” output connects to your guitar amp’s reverb tank.
RECV - Your reverb tank output connects to the front ¼” receive
jack and is converted to a balanced +4dB line signal.
OMNIPORT - ¼” TRS insert jack can be used instead of the front panel connectors (tip-send, ring-receive). Available when used with Radial Workhorse racks.
MIL-SPEC CIRCUIT BOARD - Double sided PCB with full ground plane assures low noise and durability for years use.
DUAL POTENTIOMETERS - Double up solder points for greater durability. Steel casing with steel shaft and retention nut will not bend when under stress.
GOLD 15-PIN CARD EDGE - Double sided and gold plated edge connector ensures good conductivity and signal transfer.
Tank Driver with Spring Reverb
You can pull the spring reverb out of a guitar amp and set it on a table. Connecting the spring reverb and the Tank Driver is easy and most tanks are clearly marked with input and output.

Tank Driver with Fender Twin
Simply disconnect the two RCA connectors going to the amp’s spring reverb and connect the Tank Driver. Different amps will often have different reverb tanks. Smaller tanks will have a shorter decay than long tanks. Have fun… experiment!
Stereo set-up
For even more fun… take a pre-recorded stereo track and send it through two Tank Drivers. This retains the full stereo effect and lets you alter the reverb tank to create unique spatial effects. Try it on a drum track and then mix it in… it’s wild!
