EFFECTS INTERFACE

The EXTC-SA is a creative device that enables you to take a pre-recorded balanced track
and process it using guitar effects pedals. This opens the door to using a fuzz pedal on a kick
drum, distortion pedal on vocals or maybe an envelope generator on a snare. One simply
connects the balanced line-level output from the recorder to the EXTC where send & receive
level controls enable you to adjust the signal going to and from the pedals to optimize signal
to noise. Two ef fects loops are available in series and may be inserted together or bypassed
to compare wet and dry results. This is augmented with a wet and dry control that lets you
blend the original sound with the effect.

Reamping with Hi-Z Effects

SEND & RECEIVE controls adjust the
level going to the pedals and sensitivity
of the receive input. Normally set to
optimize signal-to-noise ratio.

NO SLIP PAD provides electrical
& mechanical isolation keeping
the unit from sliding around.

CABLE CLAMP locks down
the power supply cable for
mobile installations.

180º PHASE INVERT lets you you
compensate for effect devices that
invert the polarity of the wet signal so
it may be blended with the dry signal.

BLEND CONTROL adjusts the wet-dry
mix between the original unprocessed
signal and the EXTC’s effects loop.

OUTPUT jack sends a +4dB signal
back to your recording system for
noise free cable runs.

EFX LOOPS A & B used to turn
Loop-A & Loop-B on and off. Two
LED indicators illuminate when a
loop is active.

14-GUAGE STEEL - Heavy
duty construction with du­rable baked enamel fi nish.

INPUT jack receives the +4dB sig­nal from your recording system and
converts it for hi-Z guitar effects.
