Household Type.
Instructions for Use
1. Plug the ANTS REPELLER HOME into an electrical outlet
in the area you want to protect.
2. The LED indicator light will come on and the device will
start working.
3. The ANTS REPELLER HOME should not be used in
conjunction with extermination systems that use poison
or traps, since the two methods work against each other
(repulsion vs. attraction).
4. Should you notice an increased presence of ants in the
first few days of using the ANTS REPELLER HOME, it is
likely because they are abandoning their nests.
5. It may take up to 3 weeks, once the device is in constant
use, for the ants to totally disappear.
6. Leave the ANTS REPELLER HOME on, even after the ants
disappear, as a preventive measure.

Because the ANTS REPELLER HOME is so powerful, it needs
a cooling system. For this purpose, a silent cooling system,
using no fans was developed. For its proper ventilation, it is
important not to block the upper (a) or lower (b) part of the
device.

FAQs
Can the MAGNETICAE technology in this ANTS REPELLER
HOME aect: babies, pregnant women, children, adults
or pets?
No. The MAGNETICAE technology used in RADARCAN®
devices causes no harm to people or pets.
Does it work against all types of ants?
The technology was created to fight against Lasius níger
(common ant) and also for Linepithema humile.
What is the lifespan of the ANTS REPELLER HOME?
The lifespan is unlimited.
Does it need rells?
It needs no refills.
Where should I plug in the ANTS REPELLER HOME?
Connect the ANTS REPELLER HOME in the area most
affected (usually kitchens, pantries, food storage areas) by
plugging it into an outlet not to be used by other appliances.
Be sure that the device is plugged into an outlet using the
same electric circuit and phase, as the area where the ants
are.
Does the eect reach other rooms/spaces?
Yes. It will reach a maximum area of 1345 sq. ft. (125 m
2
)
per electrical circuit, as the effect of ANTS REPELLER HOME
works with electromagnetic signals generated by the house
wiring.
I have a split-level residence, but the total living space
is not more than 1345 sq. ft. (125 m
2
). How many ANTS
REPELLER HOME devices will I need to use?
In dwellings with more than one floor, we suggest using
one ANTS REPELLER HOME per floor (or electrical circuit)
if ants are present in all parts of the dwelling. The first
step, however, is to hit the area where the ants are. By just
protecting the affected area, the ant population might be
eradicated without invading other areas of the living space.
Can I plug in more than one ANTS REPELLER HOME in the
same space?
Yes, as long as they are plugged into different circuit phase.
Can I plug in another RADARCAN® product in the same
area of the house?
Yes. Our products are totally compatible.
How long does it need to take eect?
It usually reacts best withing 1 to 3 weeks, since, even
though the ants are immediately disoriented, they resist
leaving, at first.
Some ants are more resistant than others and need more
time before they finally leave. See section: Ant Biology on

Why do I have more ants when I rst start using ANTS
REPELLER HOME?
Sometimes ants that are hidden come out on the surface
during the first days. This indicates that they are leaving the
living space.
The ants don’t go away! Why?
1. Be sure that the indicator light is on.
2. Be sure to connect the ANTS REPELLER HOME in the
area most affected (kitchen, pantry, etc.) and in an outlet
not to be used by other appliances.
3. Be sure that the device is plugged into an outlet using
the same electric circuit and phase, as the area where
the ants are.
4. Leave it running 24 hours a day.
Can I also use pesticide?
No poison should be used simultaneously with the device,
since poisons attract the ants, while the ANTS REPELLER
HOME repels them.
Is it normal for the ANTS REPELLER HOME to get warm?
Yes, it is normal. The ANTS REPELLER HOME has a cooling
system, the InOutCooler. Be sure that the air intake and
output sections of the device are not obstructed and that
they have space for air ventilation.
What if the indicator light is not working?
Check to see if the ANTS REPELLER HOME works in another
outlet. If not, get in contact with the RADARCAN® technical
department.

Care and Maintenance
Do not put the device in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning.
If you need to clean the ANTS REPELLER HOME, use only a
soft dry cloth, with no abrasive products.
Do not expose the ANTS REPELLER HOME to extreme
temperatures.
It is recommended not to use it in places with temperatures
exceeding 122 °F (50 °C).
No rells.
The ANTS REPELLER HOME works without replacement
parts, making it more economical to use.
Correct disposal of the ANTS REPELLER HOME.
Properly dispose of the device by depositing it in the
corresponding container for its correct collection and
recycling.
RADARCAN® has a commitment to the care and protection
of the environment. The ANTS REPELLER HOME contains
electronic components and it is necessary to dispose of
the device separately from the containers where normal
domestic waste is disposed of.
Consult the applicable local regulations agreement on
our website or get in touch with your local health and
environmental protection authorities for information on
your recycling options.
Warranty and extension of warranty
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Register the ANTS REPELLER HOME at: warranty.radarcan.
com and you will obtain a five-year warranty for the product
since date of purchase.
• RADARCAN® does not warranty a 100% effective shield
against the spread of diseases that the animal could be
infected.
• Your RADARCAN® product is guaranteed against defects
in materials and manufacture for the period of time
established by legislation in the country and/or state
of sale of the product (see warranty.radarcan.com), or
for five years if it is registered, from the purchase date.
If any defect in the product caused by its manufacture
or defective materials appears while under the warranty.
• RADARCAN® will only be responsible for the repair or
replacement if valid proof of purchase (e.g. paid receipt)
is presented which demonstrates that the day of the
service claim is within the validity period of the warranty.
• The warranty does not cover those products and/
or parts of products that are subjected to wear and
tear that can be considered material that naturally
deteriorates over time.
• The warranty is not valid if the defect is due to damage
caused by incorrect use of the product or improper
maintenance, or if it has been repaired or modified by
personnel not authorized by RADARCAN®.
• For good performance of the product, the user needs to
strictly follow the instructions given in the user’s manual,
and to avoid any action or use described as undesirable
or contrary to the warnings in said user manual.

Instrucciones de uso
1. Conecte el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR a la red eléctrica en
la estancia que desee proteger.
2. El indicador luminoso se enciende fijamente y el
dispositivo empieza a actuar.
3. No debe combinarse el uso de este ANTIHORMIGAS
HOGAR con sistemas de eliminación mediante venenos
o trampas, ya que sus efectos son contrarios (repulsión
frente atracción).
4. Es posible percibir una mayor presencia de hormigas
durante los primeros días de uso del ANTIHORMIGAS
HOGAR, indicativo de que éstas abandonan el
hormiguero.
5. Para obtener la total desaparición de las hormigas pueden
ser necesarias hasta 3 semanas de uso continuo del
dispositivo.
6. Deje conectado el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR
permanentemente, incluso después de que las hormigas
hayan desaparecido, como medida preventiva.

El ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR es muy potente y necesita de
un sistema de refrigeración. Para ello se ha desarrollado un
sistema de ventilación sin la necesidad de ventiladores. Es
por tanto totalmente silencioso. Es importante no obstruir la
parte superior (a) e inferior (b) para una correcta ventilación.

protección contra subidas de tensión para evitar su avería.

Preguntas frecuentes
¿Puede la tecnología MAGNETICAE de este
ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR afectar a: bebés, mujeres
embarazadas, niños, adultos ó animales domésticos?
No, la tecnología MAGNETICAE usada en los dispositivos
de RADARCAN® no provocan ningún daño a personas o
animales.
¿Funciona con cualquier tipo de hormigas?
Ha sido concebido para la hormiga Lasius níger (hormiga
negra común en la península ibérica) y también la
Linepithema humile (hormiga argentina).
¿Cuál es la vida útil del dispositivo?
Su duración es ilimitada.
¿Necesita recambios?
No necesita recambios.
¿Dónde coloco el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR?
Coloque el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR en la estancia más
afectada (suelen ser cocinas, despensas, etc.), y en un
enchufe libre de la conexión de otros electrodomésticos.
Verifique que la fase eléctrica que pasa por la estancia más
afectada, es la misma que en la que está el ANTIHORMIGAS
HOGAR enchufado.
¿Cubre varias estancias?
Sí, hasta una superficie máxima de 125m

por fase eléctrica,
ya que el efecto del ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR se manifiesta
por señales electromagnéticas generadas por el cableado
eléctrico de la vivienda y no por ultrasonidos.
Mi vivienda está distribuida en 2 niveles pero en

habitables. ¿Cuántos
ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR debo utilizar?
En viviendas con más de una planta sugerimos el uso de un
ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR por planta (o fase eléctrica) si las
hormigas están presentes en todas partes.
En primer lugar debe cubrirse la estancia, zona o planta
donde se encuentren inicialmente las hormigas. Es posible
que sólo protegiendo la planta afectada las hormigas se
erradiquen sin invadir más estancias o plantas de la casa.
¿Puedo enchufar más de un ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR en
la misma estancia?
Sí, siempre y cuando los enchufe en distintas fases.
¿Puedo enchufar otros modelos RADARCAN® en la
misma estancia?
SÍ, nuestros productos son totalmente compatibles.
¿Cuánto tiempo tarda en hacer efecto?
La mejor respuesta se obtiene al cabo de 1 y 3 semanas, ya
que las hormigas, a pesar de ser aturdidas desde el primer
instante, ofrecen al principio resistencia a marcharse.
Tenga en cuenta que entre las distintas especies de
hormigas, la argentina es la más resistente y su desalojo
puede llevar más tiempo del habitual. Mire en el apartado

com) para diferenciarlas.
¿Por qué tengo más hormigas los primeros días de
utilización del ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR?
Puede ocurrir que en los primeros días salgan a la superficie
las que están escondidas. Este paso manifiesta que están
abandonando la vivienda.
¡Las hormigas no se van!
1. Verifique que el indicador luminoso se enciende.
2. Ubique el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR en la estancia más
afectada (suelen ser cocinas, despensas, etc.), y en un
enchufe libre de la conexión de otros electrodomésticos.
3. Verifique que la fase eléctrica que pasa por la estancia
más afectada, es la misma que en la que está el
ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR enchufado.
4. Déjelo en funcionamiento continuo las 24 horas del día.
¿Puedo también utilizar venenos?
No es aconsejable de forma simultánea, ya que los venenos
atraen mientras que el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR aleja,
siendo estos efectos opuestos.
¿Es normal que el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR se caliente?
Es normal. El ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR dispone del sistema
InOutCooler como sistema de refrigeración. Asegúrese que
la entrada por la parte inferior y la salida por la parte superior
no estén obstruidas y dispongan de un espacio para la
circulación del aire.
¿Qué hago si no funciona el indicador luminoso?
Debe verificar que el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR tampoco
funciona en otro enchufe, y tras confirmarlo debe ponerse
en contacto con el servicio técnico de RADARCAN®.

Cuidado y Mantenimiento
No introduzca el dispositivo en agua o cualquier otro
líquido.
Limpieza.
Si necesita limpiar el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR, desconéctelo
de la corriente. A continuación, utilice sólo un paño suave y
seco, sin productos abrasivos.
No exponer el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR a temperaturas
extremas.
Se recomienda no utilizarlo en lugares con temperaturas
superiores a 50ºC.
Sin recambios.
El ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR funciona sin recambios, lo que
economiza su uso.
Desechar el ANTIHORMIGAS HOGAR correctamente.
Deseche el dispositivo en el correspondiente contenedor
para su correcta recolección y reciclaje.
RADARCAN® tiene un compromiso para el cuidado y
protección del medio ambiente. El ANTIHORMIGAS
HOGAR contiene componentes electrónicos y es necesario
desecharlo separadamente del resto de residuos domésticos.
