WP3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT
READ CAREFULL Y BEFORE INST ALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
RAB fi xtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED. Observe all caution and warning labels.
WARNING: Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fi xture.
LOCATION
1. Secure the Wallpack to a solid surface. Do not recess any part of this fi xture.
2. Mount over a junction box or feed with conduit on each side, top or bottom. Using lag bolts to secure fi xture to the mounting surface is recommended.
3. To ensure weatherproof seal, use the supplied mounting gasket and seal all mounting plugs, conduit entrances and along all sides of the fi xture with weatherproof silicone sealant.
Backbox
WIRING
All units are factory wired for 277V except those factory ordered with a 120V Photocell (/PC). If voltages other than 277V are required, remove refl ector and rewire for the appropriate voltage.

*No internal wiring changes needed for various voltages as the ballast is quad tap electronic.
1. Open door and remove the refl ector by loosening the
(4) Refl ector Screws.
2. Connect the desired tap from the ballast to the (+) LINE supply lead.
3. Connect the white fi xture lead to the (-) COMMON supply lead.
4. Connect the bare copper Ground wire from fi xture to supply ground.
5. Replace the refl ector. Tighten screws. Install the lamp and close the door.

LAMP INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Prior to installing, check that the lamp is the correct ANSI type and wattage. Observe lamp manufacturer’s recommendations on lamp operation, ballast type and burning positions.
1. Disconnect power. Make sure fi xture and lamp are cool enough to touch.
2. Loosen Door Screws (2) from the door frame. A small rubber O-ring will retain screws. Open door.
3. Fully insert lamp into socket.
4. Before closing door, make sure gasket is properly seated all around the backbox of the wallpack. Close the door. Tighten Door Screws.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure fi xture temperature is cool enough to touch. Do not clean or maintain while xture is energized.
1. Clean glass lens with non-abrasive glass cleaning
solution.
2. As lamps age, light output diminishes. Mass
relamping at regular intervals ensures full light output at the highest effi ciency .
Door Screws
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Is the proper lamp is installed? Check the wattage and ANSI code on the fi xture label against markings on the lamp. Refer to Replacement Lamp table above for verifi cation.
2. Make sure the lamp is not defective. Try a lamp known to be in operating condition.
3. Check that the line voltage at fi xture is correct. Refer to wiring directions.
4. Is there voltage at the lamp socket? If there is no voltage, check all connections.
5. Is the fi xture grounded properly?
6. Is the photocell functioning properly (if used)?
