THANK YOU for using our glue spreaders!
Please consider the following maintenance tips.
FOR WOOD GLUES, WITH STORAGE CONT AINER
Partially fill the storage container with water and hang the
spreader with the roller inside and close the lid tightly . Make sure
the roller is in contact with the water . Also, cover the glue hopper
with plastic wrap or wax paper to keep it from crusting over Do
not leave the roller under water for more then one day. As the
roller may begin to swell.
FOR WOOD GLUES, NO STORAGE CONT AINER:
After use, clean the unit with cold or lukewarm water , NOT HOT.
Citrus cleaners help cut the glue. If you don’t have time to do this,
put the complete unit in a bucket of water .
FOR CONTACT ADHESIVES, WITH STORAGE CONTAINER:
GS7 only , NOT the GS5

With our storage container , simply put a small amount of solvent
in the container , hang the spreader unit inside, put some drops of
solvent on the surface of the adhesive in hopper , and close the lid
tightly .
Make sure the roller is NOT in contact with the solvent. The
adhesive will stay fresh and daily clean up is eliminated.
Make sure the storage container is sealed from outside air .
FOR CONTACT ADHESIVE, WITH NO STORAGE
CONTAINER:
After use, clean the unit with solvent. The roller must be removed
and cleaned with a cloth and solvent.
***PLEASE NOTE: the 5 1/2“ ABS S preader CANNOT be used
with contact adhesives.
