Remove orange plastic plug and screw in filter assembly.

1.) Screw the filter/gauge assembly onto the Electric Pump.
Foot Pedal (Optional)
CAUTION: Do not use the filter as leverage to tighten the assembly, as it may break. Use a wrench on the brass fittings to tighten the assembly .
2.)
Attach the 1’ long piece of tubing with the check valve and manifold/gauge assembly to the pump. The end with the check valve should be closest to the pump and the red end of the check valve should point towards the V AKuum Bag or Frame Press.
3.) Attach the long clear piece of tubing from the manifold/gauge assembly to the VCA6 (VAKuum Connector Assembly) on the bag or press. Refer to Instructions for Assembling the VAKuum Bag for details.
4.) If you are using an optional Foot Pedal connect the pump to the pedal and the pedal to the electric outlet. The pedal is an On/Off switch for the pump.
