1. Before beginning fixture assembly, carefully unpack all ofthe parts referring to theillustration for parts identification.
2. Turn the power to installation point OFF at the circuit breaker.
3.Locate the Nipple with Hex Nut. Thread the top end ofthe Nipple into the HexCoupling underside of the Junction Box and leave the 1/8 IP. Nipple towards down.Use the plier, thread the HexNut against the Hex Coupling and hand tighten until snug.
4.(Refer to the ILLUSTRATION B) Positionthe Diffusersand make the holes on them over the Studs on the Plate. Place the Washers over the Studs and thread the Lock Ballsonto the Studs to scurethem. Hand tighten until snug.

Put one end of the Side Chain onto theSmall Loop on the sideof the Fixture Canopy. With another people, lift the Shadeupward and make the holeon the bottom center overthe 1/8 IP. Nipple. Place another end of the Side Chain onto the Hookson the top edge ofthe Shade.And then position the Shade Holder inside of the hole on the bottomof the Shade and locatethe Cap over the Shade Holder.Secure them with the Finial and tighten until snug.

7. Install the correct bulbs referring to fixture markingsand/or labels for maximum wattage.
8. Restore power to the installation point ON. Retain this sheet for future reference.

INSTALLATION STEPS. Once that assembly is completed and the
cable is secured, you can refer back to Step #6 below to complete
your fixture installation.
STOP HERE! Before securing the CEILING CANOPY to the ceiling,
(black or smooth side). Wrap each connection with approved electrical
tape.
WIRE to the FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRE (white or ribbed side): connect
the HOUSE BLACK (or red) WIRE to the FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRE
Using wire connectors (not provided) connect the HOUSE GROUND
WIRE to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE: connect the HOUSE WHITE
NOTE: DO NOT CUT THE SAFETY CABLE AT THIS TIME!
4. Next the HEX COUPLING and tighten with pliers or a wrench.
