ASSEMBLY / IN STAL LATI ON INS TRUC TION S

1.Before beginning the installation,carefully unpack and
identify all parts, referring to the illustration(FIGURE 1).

2.Turn power to the installation point OFF at circuit br eaker .

3.Thread the end of CE NT ER STEM onto nipple on top center

of JUN CT ION BOD Y. Ha nd tighten until snug. Locate top
ends of RO DS through the holes on the side of FIXTURE
COVER and thread KNO BS onto the top ends.

4.Thread the nipple in the bottom center of FIXTUR E
CANO PY into HEX COUP LING in the center of FIX TURE
COVER. Hand tighten until snug. Then thread FIXTUR E
LOO P onto the nipple on the top center of FIXTURE
CANO PY and tighten until snug.

5.Thread FINI AL wi th NIPPLE into mounting hole on the
bottom center of JUN CT ION BOX . Ha nd tighten until snug.

Proceed to thread ends of RO DS into SMALL LOO PS and
tighten until snug.

6.Fasten the CR OS SBAR to the OU TLET BOX with (2)OU TLET

BOX SCREWS( not supplied). Proceed to thread LOCK NUT A
and SHAKE PRO OF WASHE R A onto the top end of NI P PLE.
Thread NIPPLE into the center of CR OSSBAR. Locate the
LOC K NUT B onto the bottom end of the NI PPLE. Tighten LOC K
NUT A against CROSSBAR with plier until snug.

7. Locate the FIXTUR E CH AIN and determine desired hanging

height of fixture. Adjust chain by remo ving links if needed.
Please note that depending on chain ma terial thickness, you
might be required to use chain pliers to spread links open.
Proceed to attach one end of chain to FIXTUR E LOO P, attached
to top of fixture. Pass the fixture wi res thr ough FI XTUR E
CHAIN alternating links. Proceed to pass the fixture wi res
through the following mo unting comp onents in this order:

1)CA NO PY LOC K RING ; 2)CE ILING CA NO PY;3)CANO PY
CHAIN LOOP;4)SHA KE PRO OF WASHER B and HE X NU T
B;5)NI PPLE;6)HEX NUT A and SHAKE PRO OF A.

8. Ma king the connections:(2 people recomme nded for the

rema ining steps) Position the fixture under the ceiling mounted
outlet box. Pass SHA KE PRO OF WASHER B over the NI PPLE.
Thread CANO PY CHAIN LOOP onto NI PPLE. Thread LOCK
NUT B down the NIPPLE, against the CA NO PY CH AIN LOO P
and snug with pliers. Pass the wi res through the NI PPLE. Take
up wi re slack and trim wires so that approx. 6” will remain inside
outlet box. Proceed to attach the top of the FI XTUR E CH AI N to
the bottom of the CANO PY CHAIN LOOP. Using wi re
connectors(not supplied) connect the HO US E GROU ND WIRE

to the FIXTUR E GR OU ND WI RE;connect the HO USE
WHI TE WI RE to the FIXTURE SUP PLY WI RE (WHI TE or
RIBBED SIDE ); connect the HOUSE BLACK (or RED) WI RE to
the FIXTUR E SUP PLY WI RE (BLACK or SMOO TH SIDE ). Wrap
each connection wi th approved electrical tape.

9. Wi th the proper connections made, proceed to push the

CEILING CA NOPY upward over the OU TLET BOX . Be sure that
all wi res are carefully tucked into the OU TLET BOX cavity.
Secure canopy against ceiling by threading CA NOPY LOC K
RING onto the CANOPY LOO P. Tighten until snug.

10.Locate SHA DE over SOC KET onto SHA DE HO LDE R.
Secure by threading SOCKET CO LLAR onto SOCKET and
tighten until snug.Install bulbs referring to fixture mark ings

and/or labels for ma ximu m wattage.

11.Restore power to the installation point ON. Retain this sheet
for future reference.
