1.Before beginning fixture fabrication, carefully unpac k
all parts referring to illu stration FIGURE1 for parts
identification.
2.Turn power to th e installation point OFF at circu it
breaker.
3.Thread the end of CENTER ST EM onto nippple on the
top center of UPPER JUNCTIO N BODY. Hand tighten
until snug. Locate top ends of UPPER RODS through
the holes on the side of FIXTUR E COVER and thread
KNOBS onto the ends. Procee d to thread the nipple
in the bottom center of FIXTU RE CANOPY into HEX
COUPLING in the center of FIX TURE COVER. Hand
tighten until snug. Then th read FIXTURE LOOP onto
the nipple on the top center of FIXTURE CANOPY
and tighten until snug.
4.Thread NIPPLE into CONN ECTOR underside of
LOWER JUNCTION BODY. Hand t ighten until snug.
Proceed to locate WHEEL PART over the nipple and
thread FINIAL onto the nipp le until snug to secure it.
5.Thread ends of LOWER RODS i nto SMALL LOOPS
on LOWER JUNCTION BODY. Han d tighten until snug.
Proceed to thread ends of UPP ER RODS into top
ends of LOWER RODS. Hand tigh ten until snug.
6.(For Canadian install ation, please refer to Page2)
Fasten the CROSSBAR to the OU TLET BOX with
(2)OUTLET BOX SCREWS(no t supplied). Proceed to
thread LOCK NUT A and SHAKE PRO OF WASHER A
onto the top end of NIPPLE. Thread NIPPLE into the
center of CROSSBAR. Locat e the LOCK NUT B onto the
bottom end of the NIPPLE. Tighten LOCK NUT A against
CROSSBAR with plier until s nug.
7. Locate the FIXTURE CHAIN a nd determine desired
hanging height of fixture. Adjust chain by removing links
if needed. Please note that depending on chain material
thickness, you might be req uired to use chain pliers to
spread links open. Proceed to attach one end of chain to
FIXTURE LOOP, attached to top of fixture. P ass the
fixture wires through FIX TURE CHAIN alternating links.
Proceed to pass the fixture w ires through the following
mounting components in this order: 1)CANOPY LOCK
RING; 2)LOWER CEILING CAN OPY; 3)UPPER CEILING
CANOPY; 4) CANOPY CHAIN LOOP; 5) SHAKE PR OOF
WASHER B.
8. Making the connections :(2 people recommended for
the remaining steps) Posi tion the fixture under the ceiling
mounted outlet box. Pass SH AKE PROOF WASHER B
over the NIPPLE. Thread CANOPY CHAIN LOOP onto
NIPPLE. Thread LOCK NUT B down the NIPPLE ,
against the CANOPY CHAIN LOOP and snug with pliers.
Pass the wires through the NI PPLE. Take up wire slack
and trim wires so that approx . 6” will remain inside outlet
box. Proceed to attach the to p of the FIXTURE CHAIN to
the bottom of the CANOPY CHAIN LOOP. Using wire
connectors(not supplied) connect the HOUSE GROUND
WIRE to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE; connect the
HOUSE WHITE WIRE to the FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRE
(WHITE or RIBBED SIDE); con nect the HOUSE BLACK
(or RED) WIRE to the FIXTURE SU PPLY WIRE(BLACK
or SMOOTH SIDE). Wrap each connection w ith approved
electrical tape.
9. With the proper connecti ons made, proceed to push the
LOWER CEILING CANOPY with UPPER CEILI NG
CANOPY upward over the OUTLET BOX. Be sure that all
wires are carefully tucke d into the OUTLET BOX cavity.
Secure canopies against ceiling by threading CANOPY
LOCK RING onto the CANOPY LOOP. Tighten until snug.
10.Locate SHADES over SOC KETS onto SHADE
HOLDERS. Secure by thread ing SOCKET COLLARS
onto SOCKETS and tighten un til snug. Install bulbs
referring to fixture mark ings and/or labels for
maximum wattage.
11.Re store power to the installation poin t ON. Retain this
sheet for future referenc e.

require a means of support independent of the OUTLET
BOX. This fixture must be supported by 3/8-18 NPSM
NIPPLE(supplied) The NIPPLE should be positioned so
that 3/4“ protrudes into the OUTLET BOX cavity. Note: the
opposite end of the NIPPLE must be attached to a
structural or bridging member of sufficient strength to
support the fixture weight. A COTTER PIN has been
included and should be installed into the top of NIPPLE,
above HEX NUT for added safety. A clearance hole must be
drilled on the inside top center of the OUTLET BOX. Please
refer to Figure 2, page 3 for detailed illustration. We
recommend the consultation of a licensed electrician or
contractor due to the complexity of this installation.
3. With the NIPPLE properly situated, locate COUPLING and
proceed to thread onto the end of the NIPPLE protruding
into the OUTLET BOX. Thread COUPLING onto pipe until
tight. Tighten the top SET SCREW with pliers to secure
COUPLING to NIPPLE.
4. Making the connections: (Quoizel recommends (2)
people for the rest of this installation) Proceed to unravel
the FIXTURE SUPPLY and GROUND WIRES. Locate the
FIXTURE CHAIN and attach one end to the FIXTURE LOOP
at the top of FIXTURE. Please note that depending on chain
material thickness, you might be required to use chain pliers to
spread chain links open. Proceed to pass the FIXTURE
SUPPLY and GROUND WIRES through the chain, alternating
links. Proceed the pass the wires through the following
mounting components in this order: 1) CANOPY LOCK RING
2) CEILING CANOPY.
Position the fixture under the OUTLET BOX. Locate the
CANOPY CHAIN LOOP; SHAKE PROOF WASHER B and
LOCKNUT B; NIPPLE ; LOCK NUT A and SHAKE PROOF
WASHER A. Thread LOCK NUT A onto top end of NIPPLE.
Pass SHAKE PROOF A over top end of NIPPLE. Thread
LOCK NUT B onto the end of NIPPLE. Pass SHAKE PROOF
B over end of NIPPLE. Thread the CANOPY CHAIN LOOP
onto the end of NIPPLE. Thread LOCK NUT B down NIPPLE
and snug against top of CANOPY CHAIN LOOP with pliers.
