Miercom Labs: Quintum demonstrated its Tenor MultiPath Switch capabilities with six other
FastComm™: Interoperability testing was completed between Quintum’s Digital Tenor VoIP MultiPath Switch
products and FastComm’s SignalPath230 Signaling Gateway protocol converters in FastComm’s facility in Dulles, VA. The resu lts con firm ed the ab ilit y of the Tenor to interf ace with the SP2 30 to pr ovid e signa ling pr ot ocol conversions for ANSI SS7 to T1 NI2, and ITU C7 to ETSI E1 PRI signaling variants. T.38 Fax – Offers standards-based real-time fax over the Internet Least Cost Routing The Tenor CMS can provide least cost routing of calls to multiple PSTN or IP carrier
networks when used in conjunction with a RADIUS based billing server. The most economical call route is determined based on the dialed number and calling rates stored in a Rate Table in the billing s erver. Suitable billing server software packages are available from Quintum partners.
TDM Switching The Tenor CMS now supports both IP packet and TDM circuit switching. Using Quintum’s
unique MultiPath archit ectur e the CMS can s witch call s between an y of its ports f rom IP to P STN, PST N to IP, or PSTN to PSTN. The CMS combines both a powerful TDM circuit switch and H.323 VoIP gateway into one, compact, cost effective, telephony solution for service providers.
DHCP Client software enables Tenor to operate on a LAN with a dynamic IP address assigned by a DHCP
Server.
Automatic PacketSaver™ Detection software Enhanced Interactive Voice Response (IVR) feature supports up to three different user selectable languages. Enhanced calling card feature supports multiple sequential calls in a single calling card session. Enhanced RADIUS interface and AAA Server authentication process to authenticate and authorize callers
based on the caller’s phon e number (ANI), allo wing callers to c all in from designated p hone numbers and gain access to the network without the need to enter an account or PIN number.
