Quintum Announces “VoIP Becomes Reality” Contest!!
Convergence has definitely become mainstream. Network managers have
been thinking about ways to implement VoIP, and of all the benefits that these
VoIP applications could derive. Quintum and TMC, the folks who bring us the
Internet Telephony Conference and Expos, have joined together to sponsor,
promote and make someone’s VoIP implementation a reality. We announced the
start of the contest at the Fall show in Los Angeles and will announce the winner
at the Spring show in Miami. Of course, you don’t have to be present to win but
you have to get Quintum your application before Monday, January 31
Uniqueness of your proposed (or recently implemented) VoIP applications counts!
Judges include an industry analyst, a freelance industry writer, Quintum’s CTO, and an editor from Internet Telephony

Quintum’s Newest Tenor! Quintum will soon be announcing a new BRI Tenor. Tenor BRI will give enterprises
using ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) lines an easy and cost-effective way to
capitalize on VoIP. The Tenor BX will be available in 2, 4 or 8 BRI S/T ports,
MultiPath or gateway configurable, with an integrated gatekeeper and SIP Back to
Back User Agent for survivability, which will be in the next release. Stay tuned!
Quintum Recognized with 3 Prestigious Awards. The first award named Quintum

This program ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies in NJ, based on percentage of growth
over 5 years, 2000 – 2004. We are still awaiting our results for the national standings in the Fast 500.

The second award is the Readers’ Choice award, awarded by Windows IT Pro
magazine’s readers. They selected the Tenor DX MultiPath Switch as the winner in
the “Best of Voice over Internet Protocol” category. More than 2,000 readers selected
the Tenor out of over 700 products and services.
The third Award is from FierceNetworks, one of eight newsletters
published by FierceMarkets Inc., a Washington DC-based business
publishing company. Quintum was selected as a member of FierceVoIP’s annual list of
“The Fierce 15”, honoring it as one of the top 15 emerging IP telephony companies for
2004. FierceVoIP, an internationally recognized email newsletter covering the VoIP and
Internet telephony industry, evaluated more than 300 privately-held VoIP companies based on company vision, revenue
potential, quality of deals and partnerships, and competitive market position.
