End of Sale/End of Life for Tenor AS Series VoIP Gateways and Switches
The Tenor AS Series VoIP Gateways and Switches (ASG200/ ASG400/ ASM200/ ASM400) and
survivable variants are being discontinued. Tenor AS Series products are no longer available for
order or purchase.
Introduction
The Tenor AS Series VoIP Gateways and Switches have been successfully deployed for some
time; they continue to provide reliable, high quality voice over IP services in enterprise and
service provider applications in over 50+ countries throughout the world.
Motivation & Recommended Product Migration
The End of Sale (EoS) and End of Life (EoL) of the Tenor AS Series VoIP Gateways and
Switches was precipitated by the unavailability of various components. The components are no
longer available as suppliers have chosen to abandon the manufacture of parts that do not
comply with various RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances)-related regulations enacted
by governments in numerous countries, including (but not solely confined to) the EU.
Quintum Technologies recommends customers select a replacement product from the Tenor AF
Series VoIP Gateways and Switches. The Tenor AF Series offers functionally equivalent
versions of all Tenor AS Series products and also comply with various RoHS-related
regulations1. Please refer to Table 1 for recommendations.

Date when Quintum ceases manufacture of the product
and no longer maintains inventory for new sales. Stocks
will be maintained to support RMA activities until the
end of hardware maintenance date.

for this product. Only maintenance releases and
patches will be supplied after this date.3
Date when Quintum will no longer support hardware
fixes or repairs.
Date when Quintum will no longer maintain, provide

Please note Quintum reserves the right to fulfill any remaining/subsequent orders for the AS product with a
comparable AF product. Quintum will advise customers prior to product shipment with the alternative fulfillment
should such a situation arise.
