General Información
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the EWS Emulsion
Separator. Please read instructions carefully
before installing your EWS unit and putting
it into service. The perfect functioning of the
EWS Emulsion Separator - and thus reliable
condensate treatment - can only be guaranteed
if the recommendations and conditions stated
here are adhered to.
Introducción

de aceite-agua EWS. Por favor, lea atentamente
las presentes instrucciones antes de realizar la
instalación y la puesta en marcha del EWS. El
seguimiento de las instrucciones e indicaciones
contenidas en este manual es la única garantía

tanto, de un tratamiento fiable del condensado.

General Information
Important Rules
Safety aspects:
• The instructions for installation and operation
must be fully adhered to in order to avoid
damage or injury.
• Ensure that oil or untreated condensate
cannot get into the public sewer system in
the event of damage.
• Check at regular intervals that the EWS unit
is in a leak tight condition.
• Only install original Quincy cartridge sets.
If other filters are used, the functional
guarantee will no longer be valid.
Application aspects:
• The Quincy cartridge is designed for most
modern lubricants, if your system creates a
stable emulsion, contact QUINCY.
• The electronically level-controlled Q MAT
condensate drain should be installed to
ensure optimum condensate discharge.
Condensate discharge by hand or by means
of a time-controlled solenoid valve may
lead to the formation of stable emulsions or
overloading of the EWS unit.
Operational aspects:
• Overloading of the EWS impairs the
separating efficiency, shortens the filter
service life and can lead to overflowing.
• Only use Quincy cartridge sets for
replacement. The approved cartridges are
identified by their labelling (see page 12).
Intended use:
The EWS emulsion separator is used for treating
non-emulsified condensate in compliance with
the legal regulations.
Feed fluid: Compressor condensate
Condensate/ambient temperature: 34-140°F
Discharged fluid:
Cleaned condensate with mineral oil
hydrocarbon content far below the statutory
limit (see above). Will meet standard EPA
regulations. Check with your local POTW for
requirements.
• Maximum operating pressure of the
compressed-air system: 230 psi

Servicio:
• Una sobrecarga del EWS puede llevar a un
empeoramiento de la separación, acortar la

filtros Quincy. Los cartuchos/filtros que se
admiten están identificados con una etiqueta
(ver pág. 12)
Uso:
El separador aceite-agua EWS sirve para el
tratamiento de condensados no emulgentes de
compresores conforme a lo estipulado por la ley.

The oil-contaminated condensate can be discharged under
pressure into the EWS emulsion separator.
The overpressure is reduced in the pressure-relief chamber (2)
without creating turbulence in the separation container.
The calmed condensate flows into the filter stage where it passes
slowly through the 2-stage filter unit.
Free oils and entrained dirt particles are adsorbed in the oleophilic
prefilter (3). After this preliminary cleaning of the condensate,
the residual mineral hydrocarbons are removed in the activated
carbon stage.
The clean water is discharged through a riser to the outlet (4).

The oil-contaminated condensate can be discharged

(maximum system pressure 232 psi).
The overpressure is reduced in the pressure-relief
chamber (2) without creating turbulence in the
separation container.

First stage removes large oil drops and dirt particles.
Second stage removes small oil droplets.
Third stage removes residual mineral hydrocarbons.

Funcionamiento
EWS 20
El condensado contaminado de aceite puede introducir se bajo
presión en el separador de aceite-agua EWS.
La sobre presión se reduce en la cámara de despresurización (2),
no produciéndose así turbulencias dentro del depósito separador.
El condensado despresurizado llega a la zona de filtración y
atraviesa lentamente la unidad filtran te de 2 fases.
El aceite libre y las partículas de suciedad son adsorbidos por un
prefiltro oleofílico (3). En la fase de carbón activo que le sigue,
se libera el condensado ya descontaminado de los restos de
hidrocarburos minerales.
El agua limpia sale por un canal ascendente.

El condensado contaminado de aceite puede introducir

La sobre presión se reduce en la cámara de
despresurización (2), no produciéndose así

El condensado, una vez calmado, pasa a la fase de
filtración y atraviesa lentamente el cartucho de tres
etapas.
En la primera etapa se eliminan las gotas de aceite
grandes y las partículas sólidas.
En la segunda se filtran las gotas de aceite pequeñas.
La tercera etapa limpia el aire de hidrocarburos
minerales.
El agua limpia saldrá por la conexión de salida (4).

Area of Installation
• Sealed floor or collecting basin. It is crucial to ensure that untreated condensate or oil cannot
get into the sewer system in the event of damage.
• The floor area must be stable and level (max. inclination 1°) to ensure reliable functioning of the
EWS.
EWS 20
Hose connectors (1) for inlet and outlet are not tightened. See enclosed assembly drawing.
Floor Mounting (EWS 20 only)
Use elongated holes of the 4 mounting feet. Screws and dowels supplied with unit. Install the EWS
unit true to plumb line (± 1°).
Wall Mounting (EWS 20 only)
Fix mounting brackets (7) perpendicularly on the wall. Push in EWS with mounting area (9) and lock
home clamp (8).
Lay condensate feed line(s) along the wall with a downward slope.
Lay water discharge line with a continuous downward slope to the wastewater discharge point.
Install trap to avoid disagreeable smells.
The installation area must be such that untreated condensate cannot get into the public sewer
system.

Lugar de Instalación
• Suelo sellado o artesa colectara. En caso de accidente, deberá evitarse que llegue condensado
contaminado o aceite a la canalización o a la tierra.
• El suelo del lugar de instalación debe ser sólido y plano (inclinación máx. 1º) para que el EWS
funcione de modo fiable.
EWS 20
Atornillar los conectores (1) de alimentación y de salida. Observe para ello las instrucciones de
montaje que se adjuntan.
Montaje en el Suelo (EWS 20 solamente)
Use los orificios alargados de los 4 pies de fijación. Los tornillos y las clavijas se entregan junto con
la unidad. Monte el EWS verticalmente (±1º).
Montaje en la Pared (EWS 20 solamente)
Montar gancho de sujeción (7) perpendicularmente a la pared (±1º). Enganchar el EWS con la
superficie de montaje (9) y encajar la abrazadera de cierre (8).
Colocar los tubos de alimentación de condensado por encima del EWS con inclinación continua.
Montar la tubería de salida del agua con inclinación continua y, a ser posible, con sifón.
El lugar de instalación debe estar concebido de manera que el condensado sin tratar no pueda
llegar a la canalización pública.

Installation
EWS 100
With the multiple inlet adapter, up to 3 condensate lines can be connected directly to the EWS unit.
The inlet adapter can be mounted on the wall. It has three ½" hose connectors for infl ow from the Q
MAT and one 1" hose connector for the hose to the EWS.
The ½" connector on the EWS must not be removed.
The 1" hose can be pulled over the ½" connector. (See below.)
Up to 4 EWS units can be joined to a fl ow splitter.
If there are more than 4 feed points, it will be necessary to install a header of 1" diameter above
EWS inlet (height 24" above fl oor) with a slight slope down to the EWS unit (min. 1°)
• Feed in the condensate from the top.

Connecting the wastewater hose:
• Use the hose supplied and attach it to the EWS water outlet.
• Lay the hose with a continuous slope down to the wastewater drain (trap).

Usando el adaptador de conexión, es posible conectar hasta tres entradas de alimentación
directamente al EWS.
El adaptador de conexión puede atornillarse a la pared. Tiene 3 conectores para manguera DN 13
para la alimentación del Q MAT y otro conectar DN 25 para la manguera que va al EWS.
El conectar de ½” del EWS no podrá retirarse. La manguera DN 25 deberá fi jarse al conectar de

Es posible conectar hasta 4 separadores EWS a un distribuidor.
En caso de haber más de 4 puntos de alimentación, será necesario montar un tubo colector. Por
encima de la entrada del EWS (altura por encima del suelo 600 mm) ligera inclinación hacia el

Putting into Operation
EWS 20
• Remove cap and aerosol filter mat.
• Fill fresh water into EWS until water comes
out of the outlet.
• Wait for 24 hours, top up with water if
required.
• Put back cap and aerosol filter mat.
The EWS 20 emulsion separator is now ready
for operation.
The treated water may initially have a dark color.
This will be momentary, and can be discharged
to sanitary sewer.
EWS 100
• Remove the lid.

• Check if plastic bag around the cartridge has
been removed!
• Pour water in top.
• Shut off the water when it starts to come out
at the water outlet.
• Wait for 24 hours, top up with water if
required.
• Put lid back on.
The EWS 100 emulsion separator is ready for
operation:
• Feed in condensate
The treated water may initially have a dark
color. This will be momentary, and can be
discharged to sanitary sewer.
Checking for Leaks
• Inspect hoses and connections, tighten
screws where necessary or replace parts.

Maintenance
Cartridge Replacement
• It is recommended that an original Quincy
cartridge be kept in stock at all times.
• Use only Quincy cartridge to ensure
operational reliability. The original
are identified by their labelling (C) and test
seal.
• The correct functioning of the
EWS
(wastewater quality, through-put capacity,
service life) cannot be guaranteed if any
other filter material is used.
• Soak new cartridge in tap water for 24
hours.
• Remove plastic bag before cartridge
installation.

Cartridge Replacement Procedure
1. Place new Quincy
cartridge set near the
unit. Keep the plastic bag of the new set
for wrapping up the old fi lters. Soak new
fi lter in tap water for 24 hours.
2. Shut off condensate inlet.
3. Open
EWS lid.
4. Lift cartridge and allow
it to drain. Put fi lter into
the plastic bag and
close bag tightly.
5. Clean
6. Insert the new
cartridge area.

Mantenimiento
Cambio de cartucho
• Les recomendamos que hagan provisión de
cartuchos Quincy originales
• Para garantizar la seguridad de
funcionamiento, utilice exclusivamente
cartuchos Quincy originales, reconocibles
por su etiqueta (C) y su precinto de control
• No utilice filtros de otras marcas. De
otra manera, no se podrá garantizar el
funcionamiento del cartuchos originales
EWS (calidad del agua expulsada, carga,
vida útil)
• Los cartuchos nuevos habrán de ponerse en
remojo antes del montaje
• Retirar la bolsa de plástico antes de la
instalación.

Procedimiento
1. Preparar el cartucho nuevo Quincy, usar
el embalaje de PE del juego nuevo para
introducir en su interior el usado para su
eliminación. Tener el fi ltro en remojo en
agua corriente aprox. 24 h.
2. Cerrar el paso de condensado.
3. Abrir la tapa del EWS.
4. Sacar el cartucho, dejar escurrir,
introducir en la bolsa de PE y cerrar
herméticamente.
5. Limpiar impurezas de la
zona de colocación del
cartucho.
6. Introducir lentamente
el nuevo cartucho,
poniendo cuidado en
que las guías (A) estén
bien colocadas en
las taladra duras del
depósito (B).
7. Vuelva a colocar la
tapa.
8. Abrir de nuevo la
alimentación de
condensado.
9. Elimine el cartucho
usado respetando las
normativas vigentes.

a great effect on the actual filter life.

Note: Characteristics of compressor condensate
depend on several factors, such as:
• Type of lubricant
• Type and number of additives
• Heat of compression
• Composition of ambient air
Connecting the EWS in parallel will multiply the
performance by the number of units. However,
differences in filter performance may be noted,
caused by uneven flow from the flow splitter,
due to manufacturing tolerances, and off-level
mounting.
It is recommended that the filter be changed
every six months, or less.

Atención: las características del condensado del
compresor dependen de varios factores. Los
más importantes son:
• Tipo de lubricante
• Tipo y número de los aditivos
• Calor de compresión
• Composición del aire atmosférico
Si conectamos el EWS en paralelo, se
multiplicará el rendimiento manteniendo el
número de unidades. En cualquier caso, podrán
percibirse oscilaciones en el rendimiento de
los filtros, causadas por la variación del flujo
proveniente del distribuidor de condensado y
que es debida a las tolerancias de fabricación o
al nivel de desconexión.
Recomendamos cambiar el filtro cada seis
meses a más tardar.

STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
QUINCY COMPRESSOR AND ORTMAN FLUID POWER DIVISIONS
LEGAL EFFECT: Except as expressly otherwise agreed to in writing by an authorized representative of
Seller, the following terms and conditions shall apply to and form a part of this order and any additional
and/or different terms of Buyer’s purchase order or other form of acceptance are rejected in advance and
shall not become a part of this order.
The rights of Buyer hereunder shall be neither assignable nor transferable except with the written consent
of Seller.
This order may not be canceled or altered except with the written consent of Seller and upon terms which
will indemnify Seller against all loss occasioned thereby. All additional costs incurred by Seller due to
changes in design or specifications, modification of this order or revision of product must be paid for by
Buyer.
In addition to the rights and remedies conferred upon Seller by this order, Seller shall have all rights and
remedies conferred at law and in equity and shall not be required to proceed with the performance of this
order if Buyer is in default in the performance of such order or of any other contract or order with seller.
TERMS OF PAYMENT: Unless otherwise specified in the order acknowledgment, the terms of payment shall
be net cash within thirty (30) days after shipment. These terms shall apply to partial as well as complete
shipments. If any proceeding be initiated by or against Buyer under any bankruptcy or insolvency law, or
in the judgment of Seller the financial condition of Buyer, at the time the equipment is ready for shipment,
does not justify the terms of payment specified, Seller reserves the right to require full payment in cash
prior to making shipment. If such payment is not received within fifteen (15) days after notification of
readiness for shipment, Seller may cancel the order as to any unshipped item and require payment of its
reasonable cancellation charges.
If Buyer delays shipment, payments based on date of shipment shall become due as of the date when
ready for shipment. If Buyer delays completion of manufacture, Seller may elect to require payment
according to percentage of completion. Equipment held for Buyer shall be at Buyer’s risk and storage
charges may be applied at the discretion of Seller.
Accounts past due shall bare interest at the highest rate lawful to contract for but if there is no limit set
by law, such interest shall be eighteen percent (18%). Buyer shall pay all cost and expenses, including
reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred in collecting the same, and no claim, except claims within Seller’s
warranty of material or workmanship, as stated below, will be recognized unless delivered in writing to
Seller within thirty (30) days after date of shipment.
TAXES: All prices exclude present and future sales, use, occupation, license, excise, and other taxes
in respect of manufacture, sales or delivery, all of which shall be paid by Buyer unless included in the
purchase price at the proper rate or a proper exemption certificate is furnished.
ACCEPTANCE: All offers to purchase, quotations and contracts of sales are subject to final acceptance by
an authorized representative at Seller’s plant.
DELIVERY: Except as otherwise specified in this quotation, delivery will be F. O. B. point of shipment. In
the absence of exact shipping instruction, Seller will use its discretion regarding best means of insured
shipment. No liability will be accepted by Seller for so doing. All transportation charges are at Buyer’s
expense. Time of delivery is an estimate only and is based upon the receipt of all information and
necessary approvals. The shipping schedule shall not be construed to limit seller in making commitments
for materials or in fabricating articles under this order in accordance with Seller’s normal and reasonable
production schedules.
Seller shall in no event be liable for delays caused by fires, acts of God, strikes, labor difficulties, acts of
governmental or military authorities, delays in transportation or procuring materials, or causes of any kind
beyond Seller’s control. No provision for liquidated damages for any cause shall apply under this order.
Buyer shall accept delivery within thirty (30) days after receipt of notification of readiness for shipment.
Claims for shortages will be deemed to have been waived if not made in writing within ten (10) days after
the receipt of the material in respect of which any such shortage is claimed. Seller is not responsible for
loss or damage in transit after having received “In Good Order” receipt from the carrier. All claims for loss
or damage in transit should be made to the carrier.

TITLE & LIEN RIGHTS: The equipment shall remain personal property, regardless of how affixed to any
realty or structure. Until the price (including any notes given therefore) of the equipment has been fully
paid in cash, Seller shall, in the event of Buyer’s default, have the right to repossess such equipment.
PATENT INFRINGEMENT: If properly notified and given an opportunity to do so with friendly assistance,
Seller will defend Buyer and the ultimate user of the equipment from any actual or alleged infringement of
any published United States patent by the equipment or any part thereof furnished pursuant hereto (other
than parts of special design, construction, or manufacture specified by and originating with Buyer), and will
pay all damages and costs awarded by competent court in any suit thus defended or of which it may have
had notice and opportunity to defend as aforesaid.
STANDARD WARRANTY: Seller warrants that products of its own manufacture will be free from defects
in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for the period specified in the product
instruction manual. Warranty for service parts will be ninety (90) days from date of factory shipment.
Electric Motors, gasoline and diesel engines, electrical apparatus and all other accessories, components
and parts not manufactured by Seller are warranted only to the extent of the original manufacturer’s
warranty.
Notice of the alleged defect must be given to the Seller, in writing with all identifying details including
serial number, type of equipment and date of purchase within thirty (30) days of the discovery of the same
during the warranty period.
Seller’s sole obligation on this warranty shall be, at its option, to repair or replace or refund the purchase
price of any product or part thereof which proves to be defective. If requested by Seller, such product or
part thereof must be promptly returned to seller, freight prepaid, for inspection.
Seller warrants repaired or replaced parts of its own manufacture against defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use and service for ninety (90) days or for the remainder of the warranty on the
product being repaired.
This warranty shall not apply and Seller shall not be responsible or liable for:
(a) Consequential, collateral or special losses or damages;
(b) Equipment conditions caused by fair wear and tear, abnormal conditions of use, accident, neglect
or misuse of equipment, improper storage or damage resulting during shipping;
(c) Deviation from operating instructions, specifications or other special terms of sale;
(d) Labor charges, loss or damage resulting from improper operation, maintenance or repairs made by
person(s) other than Seller or Seller’s authorized service station.
In no event shall Seller be liable for any claims whether arising from breach of contract or warranty or
claims of negligence or negligent manufacture in excess of the purchase price.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY OF SELLERS AND ANY OTHER WARRANTIES,
WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED IN LAW OR IMPLIED IN FACT, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE ARE HEREBY SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED.
LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: Under no circumstances shall the Seller have any liability for liquidated damages
or for collateral, consequential or special damages or for loss of profits, or for actual losses or for loss of
production or progress of construction, whether resulting from delays in delivery or performance, breach of
warranty, negligent manufacture or otherwise.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND OSHA REQUIREMENTS: At the time of shipment of the equipment from the
factory, Quincy Compressor / Ortman Fluid Power will comply with the various Federal, State and local
laws and regulations concerning occupational health and safety and pollution. However, in the installation
and operation of the equipment and other matters over which the seller has no control, the Seller assumes
no responsibility for compliance with those laws and regulations, whether by the way of indemnity,
warranty or otherwise.

EFECTO LEGAL: Excepto como convino expreso de otra manera en escribir al lado de un representante autorizado
del vendedor, los términos y las condiciones siguientes se aplicarán a y forman una parte de esta orden y adicional
diferentes términos de la orden de compra del comprador o de la otra forma de aceptación se rechazan por adelan
tado y no se convertirán en una parte de esta orden.
Las derechas del comprador abajo serán ni asignables ni tranferibles a menos que con el consentimiento escrito del
vendedor.
Esta orden no puede ser cancelada o ser alterada a menos que con el consentimiento escrito del vendedor y sobre los
términos que indemnizarán el vendedor contra toda la pérdida ocasionara de tal modo. Todos los costes adicionales
incurrid os en por Seller debido a los cambios en diseño o especificaciones, la modificación de esta orden o la revisión
del producto debe de ser pagado por Buyer.
Además de las derechas y de los remedios confirió sobre vendedor por esta orden, el vendedor tendrá todas las
derechas y los remedios confirieron en la ley y en equidad y no serán requeridos para proceder con el funcionamiento
de esta orden si el comprador está en defecto en el funcionamiento de tal orden o de cualquier otro contrato u orden
con el vendedor.
TÉRMINOS DEL PAGO: Salvo especificación de lo contrario en el reconocimiento de la orden, los términos del pago
serán efectivo neto en el plazo de treinta
(30) días después del envío. Estos términos se aplicarán a parciales así como envíos completos. Si cualquier proced
imiento sea iniciado por o contra el comprador bajo cualquier ley de la bancarrota o de la insolvencia, o en el juicio
del vendedor la condición financiera del comprador, cuando el equipo es listo para el envío, no justifica los términos
del pago especificados, el vendedor reserva la derecha de requerir el pago en efectivo completo antes de hacer el
envío. Si tal pago no se recibe en el plazo de quince (15) días después de la notificación de la preparación para el
envío, el vendedor puede cancelar la orden para alguna cualquiera artículo que no es enviado y requiere el pago de
sus cargas razonables de la cancelación.
Si el comprador retrasa el envío, los pagos basados el la fecha del envío llegarán a ser debidos en fecha la fecha
cuando son listos para enviar. Si el comprador retrasa la terminación de la fabricación, el vendedor puede elegir para
requerir el pago según el porcentaje de la terminación. El equipo sostuvo para el comprador estará en el riesgo del
comprador y las cargas del almacenaje se pueden aplicar en la discreción del vendedor.
Las cuentas atrasadas descubrirán interés en la tarifa más alta legal de contraer pero si no hay sistema de límite por
ley, tal interés será diez y ocho por ciento (el 18%). El comprador pagará todos costos, incluyendo los honorarios del
abogado razonable, incurrido en recoger igual, y sin demanda, excepto demandas al dentro de la garantía del vend
edor del material o de la ejecución, según lo indicado abajo, será reconocido a menos que esté entregado en escribir
al vendedor en el plazo de treinta (30) días después de la fecha del envío.

En ausencia de la instrucción de envío exacta, el vendedor utilizará su discreción con respecto a los mejores medios
del envío de los asegurados. No se aceptará ninguna responsabilidad por comprador para tan hacer. Todas las cargas
de transporte están en el costo del comprador. La fecha de la entrega es una estimación solamente y se basa sobre el
recibo de toda la información y aprobaciones necesarias. El horario del envío no será interpretado para limitar a vend
edor en la fabricación de las obligaciones para los materiales o en artículos que fabrican bajo esta orden de acuerdo
con los planes normales y razonables del vendedor de fabricación.
El vendedor en ningún acontecimiento será obligado para retrasa causado por los fuegos, actos del Dios, huelgas,
dificultades de trabajo, actos de autoridades gubernamentales o militares, retrasa en el transporte o los materiales el
procurar, o causas de la clase más allá del control del vendedor. Ninguna disposición para los daños liquidados para
cualquier causa se aplicará bajo esta orden. El comprador aceptará entrega en el plazo de treinta (30) días después
del recibo de la notificación de la preparación para el envío. Las demandas para las escaseces serán juzgadas para
haber sido renunciadas si no hicieron en escribir en el plazo de diez (10) días después de que el recibo del material
por lo que se refiere a el cual se demanda cualquier escasez. El vendedor no es responsable de pérdida o de daño en
el tránsito que recibe después “en el recibo de la buena orden” del portador. Todas las demandas para la pérdida o el
daño en tránsito se deben hacer al portador.

LAS DERECHAS DEL TÍTULO Y DEL EMBARGO PREVENTIVO: El equipo seguirá siendo propiedad personal, sin importar cómo está puesto a cualquieres bienes raíces o estructura. Hasta el precio (cualquier es notas incluyendo dadas
por lo tanto) del equipo se ha pagado completamente en efectivo, el vendedor , en el acontecimiento del defecto del
comprador, tenga la derecha de recobrar tal equipo.
PATENTE INFRINGMENT: Si está notificado correctamente y dado una oportunidad de hacer tan con ayuda amistosa,
El vendedor defenderá el comprador y el último usuario del equipo de cualquier infracción real o alegada de cualquier
patente publicada de Estados Unidos por el equipo o de cualquier parte de eso equipados de conformidad a esto
(con excepción de partes del diseño especial, construcción, o fabricación especificada cerca y originando con el com
prador), y pagará todos los daños y costes concedidos por la corte competente en cualquier juego defendido así o de
cuál pudo haber tenido el aviso y oportunidad de defender como antedicho.
GARANTÍA ESTÁN DAR: Autorizaciones del vendedor que los productos de su propia fabricación estarán libres de de
fectos en la ejecución y materiales bajo uso normal y de servicio para el período especificado en el manual de instruc
ción del producto. La garantía para las partes de servicio estará a noventa (90) días a partir de la fecha del envío de la
fábrica. Motores Eléctricos, gasolina y motores diesel, aparato eléctrico y el resto de los accesorios, los componentes y
las partes no fabricados por Seller se autorizan solamente al grado de la garantía del fabricante original.
El aviso del defecto alegado se debe dar al vendedor, en escribir con todos los detalles que identifican incluyendo
número de serie, tipo de equipo y fecha de la compra en el plazo de treinta (30) días del descubrimiento mismo du
rante el período de la garantía.
La obligación única del vendedor en esta garantía será, en su opción, para reparar o substituir o consolidar el precio
de compra de cualquier producto o parte de eso que demuestre ser defectuoso. Si pedido Seller, tal producto o parte
de eso se debe volver puntualmente al vendedor, carga pagada en avance, para la inspección.
El vendedor garantiza partes reparadas o substituidas de su propia fabricación contra defectos en materiales y eje
cución bajo uso normal y servicio por noventa (90) días o para el resto de la garantía en el producto que es reparado.
Esta garantía no se aplicará y el vendedor no será responsable u obligado para:
(a) Consecuente, pérdidas o daños colaterales o especiales;
(b) Condiciones del equipo causadas por desgaste y rasgón normal, condiciones anormales
del uso, accidente, negligencia o uso erróneo del equipo, almacenaje o daños incorrecto
resultando durante el envío;
(c) Desviación de instrucciones de funcionamiento, especificaciones u otros términos de la venta
especiales;
(d) Cargas del trabajo, pérdida o daños resultando de la operación incorrecta, mantenimiento o
reparada por el person(s) con excepción de la estación de gasolina autorizada del vendedor
o del vendedor.
En ningún acontecimiento el vendedor será obligado para cualquier demanda si se presenta de la abertura del contrato o de la garantía o de demandas de la negligencia o de la fabricación negligente en el exceso del precio de compra.
ESTA GARANTÍA ES LA GARANTÍA ÚNICA DE VENDEDORES Y DE CUALQUIER OTRA GARANTÍA, SI ES EXPRESO
O IMPLICADO EN LEY O IMPLICADO EN HECHO, INCLUYENDO CUALQUIER GARANTÍA DEL MERCHANTABILITY Y
DE LA APTITUD PARA EL USO PARTICULAR SE EXCLUYEN POR ESTE MEDIO ESPECÍFICA MENTE.
LIMITACIONES DE LA RESPONSABILIDAD: Bajo ningunas circunstancias el vendedor tendrá cualquier responsabili
dad por daños liquidados o por colateral, daños consecuentes o especiales o para la pérdida de beneficios, o para las
pérdidas reales o para la pérdida de producción o el progreso de la construcción, de si el resultar retrasa en entrega o
funcionamiento, abertura de la garantía, fabricación negligente o de otra manera.
ENVIROMENTAL Y REQUISITOS DEL OSHA: A la fecha del envío del equipo de la fabricante, Quincy Compressor/
Ortman Fluid Power se conformará con los leyes varios de federal, estado y local y regulaciones referentes a medicina
del trabajo y seguridad y contaminación. Sin embargo, en la instalación y la operación del equipo y del otro exce
dente de las materias que el vendedor no tiene ningún control, el vendedor no asume ninguna responsabilidad de la
conformidad con esos leyes y regulaciones, sea por la manera de la indemnidad, garantía o de otra manera.
