• The toaster can only be used with the stand provided.
• All repairs including to the plug or cord should be made by a competent qualified repair service. Do not repair this product yourself.
• Note: To avoid danger by accidental resetting the thermal protection, this product may not be powered through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that regularly will be switched on or off.
• Allow the device to cool down before you are going to remove or replace spare parts.
• Do not use this product near direct heat sources.
• Make sure the cord does not touch the hot parts of the product.
• Do not use this product in the bathroom or near a sink filled with water. If this product has fallen into the water do not under no
circumstances directly grab this product, but first pull the plug from the socket.
• Make sure that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table or counter, does not touch any hot surfaces or is coming directly into
contact with the hot parts of the product. Do not place the product underneath or close to curtains, window coverings etc.
• Children shall not play with the product.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised.
• Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children.
• Don’t toast or reheat “buttered”, torn, or misshapen bread.
• If bread gets jammed, unplug the toaster, let it cool, and carefully remove the bread.
Before using the toaster for the first time
• Set the browning level to maximum (7).
• Operate the appliance empty, to cure the new elements.
• This may smell a bit, but it’s nothing to worry about.
• Ensure the room is well ventilated.
How to Clean the Toaster
• Pull out the mains plug and wait for the toaster to cool down.
• Remove and empty the crumb tray.
• Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth.
• Do not use a sharp object or abrasive substance to clean the toaster and never immerse the toaster in water or put it in a dishwasher.
