• Note: To avoid danger by accidental resetting the thermal protection, this product may not be powered through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that regularly will be switched on or o.
• Do not use this product in the bathroom or near a sink filled with water. If this product has fallen into the water do not under no
circumstances directly grab this product, but first pull the plug from the socket.
• Make sure that the cord does not touch any hot surfaces or is coming directly into contact with the hot parts of the product. Do not place
the product underneath or close to curtains, window coverings etc.
• Children shall not play with the product, even when not turned on.
• Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• If the griddle overheats, turn the griddle o, unplug and allow to cool down at least 10 minutes before turning back on.
• During use, any area of the heater may get hot. Be careful when handling the heater at all times.
• Caution: Hot grease can splash from the grill plate.
• Beware of steam and splashes when putting food on the hot grill plate.
• Do not pour cold water onto the hot grill plate. The water will splash and damage the grill plate.
• Use oven gloves if you need to touch the appliance during or shortly after use.
Safety Systems
• The griddle has an overheat safety cut out which means , if the griddle gets too hot it cuts out automatically. NEVER rely on this cutout
switch to turn the griddle o when it is not required. Always turn the griddle o when not in use.
Care and Maintenance
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• The device in not dishwasher proof.
• Regularly check the appliance for possible damage.
• Clean the appliance after each use:
• Remove any residues with a paper towel.
• Clean the grill plate with a soft, damp cloth. Once cleaned thoroughly dry with a clean, dry cloth.
