This is not a toy. Children should not be left unattended with the product. This is an electric oven and will get hot, you MUST always take care when the product is in use as any surface may become hot.

General and Safety Instructions
• Read all instructions before use.
• No responsibility can be/will be accepted if damage results from improper use, or if instructions are not complied with.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the device to cool before putting on or taking o parts. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries and invalidate any warranty you may have.
• This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces or come into contact with the hot parts or allow the product to be situated underneath or close to curtains, window coverings etc.
• Ensure that the toaster is not stored outdoors, or in any other location where it might be subjected to extremes of temperature or high humidity.
• The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
• This appliance is an attended appliance, and as such should never be left ON or whilst hot without adult supervision.
• Unplug the appliance from the socket when you are not using it.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• To avoid danger by the accidental resetting thermal protection, the device may not be powered through an external switching device, such as a timer or remote control system or connected to a circuit and is turned regularly by the subject.
• The supply cord should be regularly examined for signs of damage, and if the cord is damaged, the appliance must not be used.
• A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorized technician to avoid a hazard. Do not repair the device yourself.

First Use
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odor will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.

Cleaning and Maintenance
• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device in not dishwasher proof.
• Do not use a metal object (fork, knife .... ) to clean the inside of the appliance as this may damage the heating elements.
• The undeneath of the toaster has a hinged panel which can be unscrewed from one end. Once unscrewed it allows full access to the bottom of the toaster.
Usage
• The device is adjustable with the color controller of just crispy roasted to dark brown. To achieve the degree of browning desired, you can experiment with the setting. Also the quality and condition of the bread is also a factor. Dry and stale bread toasts more quickly, fresh and frozen bread take a little longer.
• Do not use a knife, cutlery or any other object to remove the bread from the device or to clean the device. If the bread becomes lodged in the toaster, unplug the appliance before attempting to remove it.
• Caution! Bread can burn.
• Plug the power cord into the ground earthed outlet. Turn the color controller to your desired position. Position 1 is just crisp, position 6 is dark.
• The centre positions is golden brown. Press the carriage handle completely down and toast will begin.
• Once the bread has been toasted to your selected color, the carriage handle will automatically jump up.
• During toasting, you can check the color of the bread. If it is satisfying, you press the cancel button to cancel the operation at any time.
• The toaster is equipped with the with a bun warmer, this rack can be used for warming up buns and baguettes.

Warranty Information
This product comes with a full 12 month manufacturers defect warranty and covers any manufacturers defects for one (1) year from the
date of the original purchase. It does not cover any damage occured though:
The product falling or being dropped.
The product has been technically changed by the owner or another third party
Improper use of the product and normal wear and tear.
The aected part will be replaced or repaired (manufacturers option) if they are found to be defective within the one (1) year time frame.
The warranty will be void if the product has been subject to neglect, misuse, improper installation, misapplication, alteration or accident
including, but not limited to, improper installation, maintenance or use of unauthorised parts or attachments.
Damage caused by not following the instruction manual in full will invalidate the warranty, if this results in consequential damages, Quest
will not be liable for these damages or any costs incurred due to these damages.
Quest will not be liable for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use or if the safety instructions are not properly
executed in full.
All claims must be made though the retailer you purchased the product from and not direct with the wholesaler or manufacturer.
Warranty claims cannot be honoured without an original dated receipt and or proof of purchase.
By executing repairs the original warranty period of (1) one year will not be extended, nor the right to a complied new warranty. This
warranty is only legal on European soil. This warranty does not overrule the European directive 2011/83/EU.
This product may not be amended or changed.
Warranty Claim
• In the unlikely event of a warranty claim, you must contact your retailer.
• If you have not registered your product, first fill out the registration form overleaf and take this with you when you go to your retailer.
• Take the product to your retailer that you purchased it from along with your proof of purchase and explain the issue with the retailer.
• The retailer will then check the product and get in touch with the wholesaler or manufacturer.
• The retailer will keep you informed of the progress of the claim.
• The wholesaler or manufacturer will not (unless under special circumstances) get in touch with you as all information will be passed back directly to the retailer.
