FEATURES
COMPARISON We invite and urge you to com
pare QUEEN Cm' GRIND
ERS AND BUFFERS with higher priced competitive
quality grinders and buffers. Please do not confuse our
machines with low priced products on the market. Our
I /3 and I/2 H.P. grinders are equipped with Repulsion
Induction type motors, not a split phase type. On the
heavier grinders and buffers the Induction motors are of
the heaviest duty type. ALL QUEEN CITY GRINDERS
AND BUFFERS are equipped with fully enclosed motors
to protect from dust and grit. All of our grinders arc
designed with the correct wheel sizes and speeds. We use
on our heavier machines motors of 1750 R.P.M., which
do not require large diameter wheels in order to secure
the proper cutting speed at the periphery of the wheel.
You can realize that naturally the cost of grinding wheels
will be considerably reduced and also that the wheels
can be used down practically to the flanges. These facts
coupled with the fact that the original investment is *10
to 50% lower than other makes of grinders, establishes
the purchase of QUEEN CITY products as a wise
purchase.

are positively not overrated. They will deliver the full
horsepower. For instance, our 1 /3 horsepower grinder
could easily be rated as a 1 /2 H.P. grinder and still com
pare favorably with other makes.
WHEELS
equipped with wheels at no extra price, with the excep
tion of models No. 75 and 100. They arc made by the
Carborundum Co., the largest abrasive wheel manufac
turers in the world. The quality of these wheels cannot
he questioned. The wheels we furnish have been care
fully selected by the manufacturers, experts, and are in
tended for a variety of work.

heavy duty machines. The heavy spindle is the result of
thoughtful engineering and careful selection of material.
The spindle is mounted on large high grade ball bearings
that carry both annular and thrust loads. The motors
are heavy duty type of full horsepower rating with high
safety factor for overload. They are the entirely closed
frame type to keep out dust and grit. The high grade
