Pairing the earbuds

(Initial setup and connection with Bluetooth device)

NOTE: Initially each earbud must be connected to the mobile
device individually

Take out one of the earbuds from the charging case, press

and hold the multi-function button until indicator flashes red
& blue simultaneously to enter pairing mode.
Turn on Bluetooth function on mobile device. Then select

“QDSLTMC12B” from the device available list to pair.
Once pairing is successful, indicator will flash in blue on the

side of earbud. Bluetooth status on mobile screen will also
display “Connected” under the name “QDSLTMC12B”.
Take out the other earbud from the charging case, press

and hold the multi-function button on this earbud until
indicator flashes in blue & red to enter pairing mode. Select
“QDSLTMC12B” in the Bluetooth pairing menu to connect
this earbud to device. The indicator will flash in blue with a
beep tone once the pairing is completed.
Now both earbuds are ready to be used as a stereo pair of

earbuds. Note: Music volume is controlled by mobile device.
To turn off the earbuds, press and hold the multi-function

button on either earbud until indicator light flashes in red
with “disconnected” voice prompt. Both earbuds will turn off
together. Alternately, put both earbuds back into the
charging case.

(Continue to use with previously connected Bluetooth device)

Turn on Bluetooth function on mobile device. Select
“QDSLTMC12B” from the device available list to pair.

2.

Take out either side earbud. Press and hold multi-function
button of earbud until indicator flashes blue. Then repeat
the step on the other side earbud. Bluetooth status on
mobile screen will display “Connected” under the name
“QDSLTMC12B” once pairing process is successful.

Now both earbuds are ready to be used. Music volume will
be controlled by the mobile device.

(Using individual earbuds)

1.

Take out either side earbud from the charging case.
Press and hold the multi-function button until indicator
flashes blue.

2.

Turn on your mobile devices Bluetooth function and
search for the name “QDSLTMC12B” and connect it.
Bluetooth status on mobile screen will also display
“Connected” under the name “QDSLTMC12B”.

Using the left earbud for handsfree phone calls

1.

The left earbud can be used to answer an incoming
phone call as handsfree when it is connected to a
mobile phone. (NOTE: Only left side earbud will work
for phone calls).

2.

An incoming call beep tone will go off when a phone
call comes in. Short press multi-function button to
answer the incoming call through the left side earbud
and press it again to end the call.

Music playing function

1.

While music is playing, press multi-function button once
to pause music, and press it once again to start playing
again.

2.

Press multi-function button twice to skip to the next
music track during music playback.

3.

Adjust the volume of music through volume control keys
on the phone.

Charging operation

Initial use of the earbuds

1. With the earbuds placed inside the charging case,
connect the charging cable (included) to the charging
port on the back of the charging case and the other end
of the charging cable to a workable USB power source.

Unit will be ready to be used once all four power
indicator lights on the back of the charging case are
solid blue. (Approximately 2.5 hours).

Recharging earbuds/charging case

1.

Place the earbuds inside of the charging case. The
indicators on earbuds will light up in red when charging
process is initiated.

2.

Red indicator light on the earbuds will be “on” during the
charging process and will turn blue then turn off once
both earbuds are fully charged. (Approximately 1 hour).
Charging time may vary based on the battery level of
the charging case.

To check battery level of charging case: Press “check
battery button” inside the charging case to review
battery status indicators on the back of the charging
case.

4.

Recharge the charging case by connecting the USB
charging cable (included) to the charging port on the
back of the charging case and the other end to a USB
power source. (Approximately 2.5 hours).

Operation Method

Press and hold multi-function button until
indicator light flashes blue and red or you
hear the voice prompt “pairing”.

Press and hold multi-function button until
indicator light flashes blue.

Press and hold multi-function button until
indicator light flashes red. You may also hear a
“disconnected” voice prompt.

When playing music, press the multi­function button on either side of earbud to
pause the music, and press it again to play.

When playing music, press multi-function
button twice on either earbud to skip to the
next music track.

Press multi-function button once to answer
incoming call.

Press multi-function button once to hang up
the call.

Troubleshooting

Solution

●

Connect the charging case with
the included USB charging cable
to a USB power source

●

Take out both earbuds and
reposition them in the charging
case (Red indicator light should
appear on the earbuds when
charging is initiated)

●

Turn off both earbuds by pressing
and holding multi-function buttons
on both earbuds and go through
the pairing steps again.

●

Check the Bluetooth setting on the
previous connected device to
either turn off the Bluetooth
function or remove “QDSLTMC12B”
from the list of device.

●

Put both earbuds into the
charging case to recharge
(check the battery level in the
charging case and connect to
external USB power source if
necessary).

●

Leave the premises to reduce
the interference.

●

Turn off both earbuds and
remove the from the Bluetooth
device list on your mobile
device. Re-initiate the pairing
process.

●

Check both connections of the
USB charging cable.

●

Check status of the USB power
source.

●

Swap the ear plugs and/or hook
to a different size. Package
includes small, medium and
large size ear plugs and ear
hooks.

●

Connect left side earbud to the
mobile phone.
