1.0 Introduction
Qnexus integrates a Qflash series 5d-R into a Nikon or Canon wireless (IR) flash
system. When connected to a Qflash 5d-R, Qnexus receives wireless commands
from a Nikon or Canon on-camera “master” flash. Qflash then becomes a remote
flash controlled by the master. Use your camera’s wireless flash control and enhance
your lighting capabilities with the professional quality and power of Qflash.
Important
Please read thoroughly the instructions for the Master Flash wireless
operation. All Qflash modes will be set by the Master Flash
(Nikon or Canon) on the camera, according to that system's procedures.

2.0 Mounting QNEXUS
Turn off power to Qflash before mounting Qnexus.
Qnexus plugs into the lower Accessory socket of Qflash, as shown in the diagram.
For added stability, a hook and loop pad is mounted on the back of Qnexus. One
part of this pad will be attached to the Qflash housing by the method below.
Before removing the protective liner to expose the adhesive, align the Qnexus
with the lower accessory socket of the Qflash. Note where the hook and loop
pad will make contact with the body of the Qflash. Clean the area of any dirt or
grease. Remove the adhesive liner from the pad (without touching the adhesive),
align and press the Qnexus firmly against the Qflash so that the hook and loop pad
adheres to the Qflash housing. Do not remove the Qnexus from the Qflash for 24
hours to allow the adhesive to cure.
After 24 hours you can remove and re-mount Qnexus as needed. Additional hook
and loop pads are included with Qnexus. They can be used to place additional pads
on other Qflash units, or as a replacement.
