Quam QC10 series of attenua-

tors are designed to provide
local or remote level control of
25 or 70.7 volt distributed
loudspeakers. These attenuators
can be used to control a single
speaker or groups of loudspeak­ers when the total speaker load
is twenty watts or less. Each
model provides ten standard
steps of attenuation plus an “off”
position. Model QC10 features a
contemporary style, embossed
position

identification stainless steel trim
plate. QC10 Classic is the tradi­tional style, embossed, paint
filled stainless steel trim plate.
All models in this series except
QC10RM include screws to
mount to standard single gang
electrical boxes with a depth
requirement of 2-1/8 inches.
Model QC10RM is supplied with
a 2” x 2” dial scale and a barrel
extension nut to accommodate
mounting to rack panels up to
1/8” thick.

Architects & Engineers Specifications

The area attenuator controls shall be
Quam [insert desired model from
chart] or approved equal. Each unit
shall have a power handling capabili­ty of 20 watts continuous power.
Attenuator controls shall provide a
total of -36 dB of attenuation between
ten steps and shall include an addi­tional off position. Rotary switches
shall allow continuous rotation

through all positions. Wall mounted
units shall be furnished with a one
gang stainless steel trim plate. Rack
mount versions shall include a dial
scale. Priority attenuator controls
shall have an integral 24 VDC relay
which when activated shall bypass
the attenuation setting. Control
knobs shall be black with a white
position indicator.
