1. Read all instructions carefully before using the heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible mate­rials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothing and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from front, sides and rear of the heater.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or individuals with disabilities and whenever the heater is left operating and unat­tended.
4. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater manlfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return heater to an
authorised service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.
6. Do not use outdoors.
7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or in wet or moist indoor locations. Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water containers.
8. Do not run the electric cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not place the cord in a traffic area.
9. To disconnect the heater, turn controls to “off”.
10. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings. Do not use on soft surfaces, such as a bed where openings may become blocked.
11. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
Warning: In Quebec, the installation of this product must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

12. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manu­facturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
13. Avoid the use of an extension cord.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.
General Information
This convection heater is intended for permanent wall-mounting with the provided brackets, which must be operated with a line voltage ther­mostat. (The line voltage thermostat is not provided with the heater.)
The heater has a thermal cut-off pro­tection. If the thermal cut-off protec­tion trips, switch off the power. The unit should reset automatically after 10 minutes. If the thermal cut-off protection trips again, determine the reason for overheating.

Installation
Tools required:
- Electric drill
- Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver
- Tape measure
Do not install heater closer than 152 mm (6 in) to a vertical or horizontal surface. This minimum distance must be maintained.

Wall Mounting
1) Drill the required holes in the wall using the positioning screw holes.
2) Attach the bracket to the wall with the screws.
3) Mount the heater to the bracket and engage the corresponding slots on the rear of the heater.
Removing the heater from the bracket
1) Press and loosen all clips.
2) Pull the heater to disengage the clips from the bracket.
Electrical Wiring
Warning: The heater must be installed by a certified electrician and in accordance with the local and national building codes.
Warning: In Quebec, the installation of this product must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Warning: This convection heater is to be used on a 240/208

power supply and grounded outlets.
Maintenance
Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, always switch off the unit and wait 10 minutes to allow it to cool before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. It is recommended that the heater is cleaned periodically, in order to avoid dust blocking the grill or ventilation.
Cleaning
Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids on the unit surfaces.
Note: It is possible that the unit surface may discolour (yellow) over time, due to dust or cigarette smoke. This is normal and not a manufac­turing defect.
