Introduction

Basic safety instructions

Environmentally-friendly treatment:

Before using for the first time, kindly take time to carfully read your user manual. Please observe all safety
precautions and follow operating procedures. After reading, kindly store your manual in a safe place for your
future reference. If you pass this appliance to a third party, these operating manual must also be hended over.

• Read and familiarize yourself with all operating instructions before attempting to use the waffle maker.

• Do not touch hot surfaces.

• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or cooking unit in water or other
liquid.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning allow hot surface to cool before putting on or taking
off parts.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug , or in abnormal state, If its main cord is damaged,
it must replaced by the manufacturer or Quadro service centre.

• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.

• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

• Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.

• Make sure that your outlet voltage correspond to the voltage stated on the rating label of the waffle maker.

• Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in a waffle maker as they may cause fire
or electric shock.

• Do not attempt to dislodge food when waffle maker is in operation.

• Do not use product outdoors.

• Do not use waffle maker with a damaged outlets.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• This appliance is not intended to be operated by menas of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.

• Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, repair should be done only by authorized personnel.
No user servicable parts are inside.

According to the EU Directive No 2002/96/EC concerning the products labeled with a symbol of a crossed
trash can, the manufacturer warns that this product cannot be considered a standard domestic waste. By
proper treatment, management and recycling of such waste the owner of the product prevents
users from the potential negative consequences to health, which may be caused by inadequate
management or disposal of such waste. For more information concerning recycling and
management of the product, please contact your local government office for dangerous waste
management, or the vendor from which you purchased the product.
Waste electrical products must not be dispose with household waste. This equipment should be
taken to your local recycling centre for safe treatment.

Technical Data

• Plug the power cord into the AC outlet and the red lamp is on.

• Before use, please turn Termostat knob to set desired temperature (power) and preheat the waffle maker
until the red lamp goes off. It means the temperature has reached the pre-determined temperature (usually it
takes 4-5 minutes). Time depends about temeprature setting on the Thermostat knob. For normal conditions
and cooking, set Termostat knob on position 3.

• Inner preheat open the waffle maker, add filling on it, close the waffle maker slowly, pressing and knotting.

• After about 5-6 minutes, open the machine and you can take waffle to eat. Waffle maker can also be stopped
at any time by unplug the power cord out of the AC outlet.

• When it is difficult to close the machine, it means that the filling is too big. Do not close the machine with
difficulty otherwise the damage will occur. You should reduce the sticker protection.

• When taking the waffle out from the waffle maker, do not use the sharp unit (e.g. knife and fork), you should
use the heat-resisting plastic or wooden until to provide damage the sticker protection.

• Disconnect from AC outlet.

• Wipe outside with soft dry cloth when waffle maker is cord, never use metal polish.

• If waffle maker is use frequently, accumulated crumbs should be removed at least once a week, maker sure
garbage is completely removed before using the waffle maker again.

• Never attempt to remove waffle which has jammed in the slots without unplugging the damage the internal
mechanism or heating elements when removing waffle.

Do not operate the waffle maker when:

• cord or plug is damaged

• in the case of the product malfunctions

• if the product appears damaged in any manner
Bring the product to the place of purchase or to any athorized service centre for inspection, repair or
replacement.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the product by yourself. No user

serviceable parts inside. Refer all service to an authorized Quadro service facility only.
For transport, please ensure that product is packed in original packaging. Please, secure all
movable parts during the transport.

Guarantee and Service

1. We grant 2 years guarantee of the product commencing on the date of the purchase.

2. Within the guarantee period we will correct, free of charge, any defects in materials or workmanship, either

by repairing or replacing the complete appliance as we may choose.

3. To abtain service within the guarantee period, hand in or send the complete appliance with your sales

receipt to an authorized Quadro Customer Service centre or in your shop.

4. This guarantee does not cover:

1. Damage dou to improper use

2. The guarantee becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons and if original Quadro
parts are not used.

Recipes

Basic Waffles

You can’t beat the taste of homemade waffles.
Freeze the extras to use when time is scarce. Makes
eight waffles
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-3/4 cups reduced fat milk
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 large eggs
Place ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine
until well blended and smooth. Let batter sit 5
minutes before using. Preheat your Waffle Maker on
setting 3 *(red indicator light will be illuminated to
show that heating element is working). Pour 1/2 cup
batter onto the center of the lowergrid; spread evenly
using a heat-proof spatula. Close cover of waffle
maker. After some time, open cover and carefully
remove bakedwaffle. Repeat with remaining batter.
For bestresults, serve immediately. However, you
may keep waffles warm in a 95°C oven until ready to
serve.
* We recommend using setting 3 to achieve a golden
brown baked waffle. Adjust the browning control if
you prefer lighter or darker waffles.

For Mini-Chip Waffles:Add 1/2 cup mini chocolate
morsels to the batter before baking.

Cornmeal Waffles

These waffles taste like cornbread. Drizzle withbutter
and serve with soup, chili or stew. Also, good for
brunch or a late night snack served with syrup or
cheese sauce. Makes eight waffles

3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-3/4 cups reduced fat milk

Wholesome wheat flavor combined with crunchy
pecans makes a delicious breakfast, brunch orsnack.
Top with warm fruit compote or syrup. Makes eight

2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Place ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine

Tips to make perfect Waffles

We recommend setting 3 for golden brown waffles. If you prefer crisper, darker waffles, increase thebrowning
control to setting 4 or 5. For evenly filled waffles, pour the batter onto thecenter of the lower grid and close the
cover.We recommend using 1/2 cup batter per waffle for evenly filled waffles. Waffles are best when made to
order, but baked waffles may be kept warm in a 95°C oven. Place in a baking pan or wrap in foil while in theoven.
Waffles wrapped in foil may lose their crispiness. Baked waffles may be frozen. Allow to cool completely, then
place in plastic food storagebag. Use waxed paper to keep waffles separated. Reheat in a toaster or toaster
oven when ready to use.
Suggested Toppings- You can serve waffles with: Maple syrup, fruit syrups, warm fruit compote, fruit sauce,
fresh berries, chopped fruit, chopped nuts, powdered sugar, whipped cream, ice cream, sorbet, chocolate
sauce, Fruited yogurt etc...
