CARE IN HANDLING
CARE IN HANDLING YOUR QUE! M3 DRIVE
1. Place your Que! M3 Drive in a cool, dry, clean place – away from windows, heat
sources, sources of excessive vibration, dust, moisture, and cold. To prevent fire or
electrical shock, do not expose drive to rain or water. Be sure the area is well ventilated.
2. Do not use force when connecting the cables. The shape of the Hi-Speed USB2.0
cable connector and the Que! M3 Drive USB2.0 port prevents misconnection. The power
supply adapter is keyed to ensure prevention of misconnection as well. Please view
both the cable and the connection to ensure the proper connections are made.
3. Do not attempt to clean the drive with chemical solvents — this might damage the
finish. Use a clean dry cloth.
4. Be sure to read “Troubleshooting Guidelines” section regarding common operating
errors before concluding that the unit is faulty.
5. Take special care not to drop, jar, or bump Que! M3 Drive as this could damage the
drive or the information stored in it. Keep your Que! M3 Drive stationary at all times
while it is is operational.
6. When not planning to use the drive for a long period of time, disconnect from the PC
and store appropriately in a cool and dry location.
When stacking more than one Que! M3 device, please make sure that you line up the feet
with the indents to ensure the proper stability when stacked. It is recommended that no
more than 5 devices be placed in a stack. Each drive requires it’s own power supply.
Note: Please refer to Que! M3 Installation Manual CD for complete installation version.
