2. Product Overview
This chapter provides basic information about the QNAP device.
About the TS-h1886XU-RP
The TS-h1886XU-RP is an enterprise rackmount NAS that runs on QNAP's latest ZFS-based QuTS hero
operating system to provide economic and reliable server-grade performance. Powered by Intel® Xeon® D
processors, the NAS is equipped with four-channel 32 GB DDR4 Error Correcting Code (ECC) memory
modules that are scalable to 128 GB to provide high data reliability for critical applications. Equipped with 10
Gigabit Ethernet ports and four PCIe Gen 3 expansion slots, the NAS can deliver fast data transfers and
supports RDMA/RoCE to improve performance and lower CPU usage. The TS-h1886XU-RP supports up to
18 storage drives, and data integrity is ensured through the device's redundant power supply unit.
Hardware Specifications
Warning
If your QNAP product has hardware defects, return the product to QNAP or a QNAPauthorized service center for maintenance or replacement. Any attempt to repair or
perform maintenance procedures on the product by you or an unauthorized third-party
invalidates the warranty.
QNAP is not responsible for any damage or data loss caused by unauthorized
modifications and installation of unsupported third-party applications.
