SAFETY AND OPERATION

IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES

Before using this machine, please read all the safety and operating instructions. These safety
and operating instructions should be kept in condition of consultation.

1. Electric Power Supply Line: Keep the power cord safe from being trampled on,
pressed on by heavy objects, or pierced. Make sure that the cord has ample space to rest on the
ground and is not stressed. DO NOT pull or drag or the power supply line.

2. Ventilation: This unit must be set in a ventilated space. DO NOT cover the vents on the back panel
for any reason. If placed alongside a wall, distance the unit a minimum of 10cm to allow air
flow. DO NOT surface that might restricted good air flow.

3. Dismantling: DO NOT dismantle or open the unit. This is a high-powered unit that can cause
serious harm if tampered with. DO NOT Open.

4. Smoke: Please unplug the power supplies cord from the wall outlet immediately if unusual smoke

SAFETY AND OPERATION

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS: All operating and use instructions should be followed.

CLEANING: The product should be cleaned only with a polishing cloth or a soft dry cloth. Never clean with
furniture wax, benzine, insecticides or other volatile liquids since they may corrode the cabinet.

ATTACHMENTS: Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer as they may
cause hazards.

WATER AND MOISTURE: Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub, wash bowl,
kitchen sink or laundry tub; in a wet basement; or near a swimming pool.

ACCESSORIES: Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table. The product
may fall. Causing serious injury to a child or adult and serious damage to the product. Use only with a cart,
stand, tripod, bracket or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold with the product. Any mounting of
the product should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and should use a mounting accessory recom­mended by the manufacturer.

CART: A product and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force and
uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn. See Figure A.

VENTILATION: Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable opera­tion of the product and to protect it from
overheating and these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked
by placing the product on a bed, sofa,
rug or other similar surfaces. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase
or rack unless proper ventilation is
provided or the manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.

POWER SOURCES: This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the
marking label if you are not sure of the type
of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company.

LOCATION: The unit should be installed in a stable location.

NON-USE PERIODS: The power cord of the appliance should be unplugged from the outlet when left
unused for a long period of time.

GROUNDING FOR POLARIZATION:

• If this product is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (a plug having one blade wider
than the other), it will fit into the outlet only one way. This is a safety
feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should
still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

• If this product is equipped with a three-wire grounding type plug, a plug having a third (grounding) pin, it
will only fit into a grounding type power outlet. This is a safety feature.
If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding type plug.

SAFETY AND OPERATION

POWER-CORD PROTECTION: Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be
walked on or pinched by objects placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs,
convenience receptacles and the point where they exit from the product.

OUTDOOR ANTENNA GROUNDING: If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the product,
be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges
and built-up static charges. Article 810 of the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, provides information
with regard to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an
antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of antenna-discharge unit, connection to
grounding electrodes and requirements for the grounding electrode. See Figure B

OVERLOADING: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or integral convenience receptacles as this
can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY: Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they
may touch dangerous voltage points
or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product.

SERVICING: Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose
you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE: Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to a qualified
service personnel under the following conditions:

• When the power supply cord or plug is damaged.

• If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product.

• If the product has been exposed to rain or water.

• If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls
that recovered by the operating instructions as an improper
adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified
technician to restore the product to its normal operation.

• If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way.

• When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance, this indicates a need for service.

REPLACEMENT PARTS: When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used
replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part.
Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.

SAFETY CHECK: Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to
perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.

6 - STEP SETUP GUIDE

Step Find the AC power cord (located

in the package) and plug it in to the E-B5.

Step Find a power outlet (AC
120V/60Hz) and connect the AC cord to the
wall socket to supply the unit with power.

E-B5 BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth Mode: Use the MODE button to enable Bluetooth on
the E-B5. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and
search for QFX E-B5. Select the option to pair both devices
together. You can now sit back and enjoy the music from your
favorite app. You won't need reconnect the Bluetooth again
when switching through modes.

Step Locate the POWER switch on
the back panel and set it to the “ON”
position. The display screen should light up
if the unit is has power.

Step Insert a USB flash drive in the
USB port located on the right side of the

display screen. The E-B5 will automatically
begin playing the .mp3 content.

Step Use the MASTER volume knob
to adjust the Master Volume to your taste. If
an audio signal is to loud, the CLIP light will
light up. Reduce the volume if this occurs.

Step Set the LIGHT SWITCH to the
“ON” position if to activate the LED Party
lights.

E-B5 FM RADIO:
FM Radio: Frequency-Modulated stations operate in a frequency
band extending from 87.8 MHz to 108 MHz. Use the MODE
button to select the FM mode. In FM mode, press and hold the
Play/Pause button to scan available frequencies in the area.
Extend the telescoping antenna to enhance reception.

E-B5 TWS CONNECTION:
TWS Connection: Turn ON both units and enable Bluetooth
mode on both speakers. Press and hold the TWS button for 3
seconds, on one of the speakers, to sync both units together
(they must be the same make and model to function). You will
hear a sound when sync’d. On your mobile device under the
Bluetooth settings, search for E-B5 and connect. the units should
now be sync’d. Open your favorite music app and enjoy True
Wireless Stereo. To Exit TWS press and hold the TWS button.

BACK PANEL

1. ON/OFF Switch: Press to turn the device on/off.

2. AC Input: Supports an IEC type power cable.

3. Light Switch: Press to turn ON/OFF the LED light.

4. MIC Input: This jack is used for a Microphone only.
Do not connect any line level signals to this input.

5. Line Input:

•XLR: This 3-pin connector is designed for a

balanced signal.

•RCA: This connector is for unbalanced signals.

•AUX: This is a 3.5mm jack input and it can

connect a mobile device or other 3.5mm (TRS)
device.

6. Line Out: This jack is used to send the incoming
line level signal to line Input on another mixer or
power amplifier.

7. Master Volume: This knob is used to regulate the
overall volume of the unit.

8. 5-BAND GRAPHIC EQ: Boost or Cut +/-10dB of
the selected frequency. 100Hz, 400Hz, 1kHz, 4kHz,
10kHz.

9. Levels:

• MIC Level: This knob is used to regulate the

volume of the microphone that is connected to
the MIC jack.

•This jack is used for line level devices. Connect

CD players,Tape Decks, Mixers, Rhythm
Machines, Keyboards or Samplers. .

• Player Level: This knob is used to regulate the

volume of the Bluetooth connected device.

10. USB: Insert a USB device for .mp3 playback

1.Turn on both units and enable Bluetooth mode on
both speakers.

2.Press and hold the TWS button for 3 seconds, on

E-B5 BLUETOOTH
Modo Bluetooth: use el botón MODE para habilitar Bluetooth en
el E-B5. Abra la configuración de Bluetooth en su dispositivo
móvil y busque QFX E-B5. Seleccione la opción para emparejar
ambos dispositivos. Ahora puede sentarse y disfrutar de la
música de su aplicación favorita. No necesitará volver a
conectar el Bluetooth al cambiar de modo.

RADIO FM E-B5:
Radio FM: Las estaciones de frecuencia modulada operan en
una banda de frecuencia que se extiende desde 87,8 MHz a
108 MHz. Utilice el botón MODE para seleccionar el modo FM.
En el modo FM, mantenga presionado el botón Reproducir /
Pausa para buscar las frecuencias disponibles en el área.

CONEXIÓN TWS
Conexión TWS: La conexión TWS es solo para dos

E-B5 BLUETOOTH
Mode Bluetooth: utilisez le bouton MODE pour activer
Bluetooth sur l'E-B5. Ouvrez les paramètres Bluetooth sur votre
appareil mobile et recherchez QFX E-B5. Sélectionnez l'option
pour coupler les deux appareils ensemble. Vous pouvez
maintenant vous asseoir et profiter de la musique de votre
application préférée. Vous n'aurez pas besoin de reconnecter le
Bluetooth lors du passage d'un mode à l'autre.

RADIO FM E-B5:
Radio FM: Les stations à modulation de fréquence fonctionnent
dans une bande de fréquences allant de 87,8 MHz à 108 MHz.
Utilisez le bouton MODE pour sélectionner le mode FM. En
mode FM, maintenez le bouton Lecture / Pause enfoncé pour
balayer les fréquences disponibles dans la zone. Déployez
l'antenne télescopique pour améliorer la réception.

TWS connection: TWS Connection is only for two

1.Enable Bluetooth mode on both speakers.

(or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has been subject to or Defects resulng from: (a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper
applicaon, violaon of operang instrucons for the Product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteraon or removal of any Product serial
number; (b) any modificaon or repair to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) by any party other than QFX or a party authorized in wring by
QFX; (c) any damage to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnecon to any device, or
malfuncon of any device used with the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof); (d) cosmec damage to the Product (or, as applicable, any
component thereof) caused by normal wear and tear; (e) shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transit; (f) damage caused by heat sources,
sunlight, electromagnec condions, or other climac condions or (g) any acts of God.

Product is sold to Customer for personal, non-commercial use only. Product is not warranted for Customer’s commercial or rental use. In addion, Product is
not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any applicaon where (i) there is a risk that any data stored on Product will be
breached or otherwise compromised, or (ii) the date stored on Product is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applicaons. QFX disclaims any Warranty for
any of the foregoing uses to the fullest extent permied by law. Customer assumes any and all risks associated with such uses of Product, and agrees to
indemnify QFX for any damages claimed against QFX for such uses.

EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND QFX
DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY (i) OF MERCHANTABILITY, (ii) OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR (iii) OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO
EVENT WILL QFX BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE
DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, LOSS OR INACCURACY OF ANY DATA OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS,
REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) AND EVEN IF QFX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, QFX
AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER FOR ACTUAL DIRECT DAMAGES FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE CUMULATIVE PRODUCT
FEES PAID BY THAT CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCTS CAUSING THE DAMAGES, IF ANY.

This Warranty gives Customer specific rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdicon to jurisdicon. Warning: Some Products
may contain components that are small enough to be swallowed. Please keep out of reach of children. In order for the return to be processed, you must send
the Product PREPAID to the address below in the original packaging or reasonable substute to prevent damage and include: (1) a dated sales receipt (which
must have a purchase date that falls in the Warranty Period specified in the table below) that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and
amount paid, (2) a detailed descripon of Customer’s problem with Product, (3) Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, (3) all of the
accessories that came with the Product package must be sent along with the main Product, (4) a cashier’s check or money order payable to QFX, Inc., in the
amount specified for the item in the product table below for return shipping and handling. If in the case you cannot provide a money order or cashier’s
check, you can contact The QFX Customer Support Representave to arrange payment via credit card. No returned Product will be shipped back to a PO BOX.
If a returned Product is found to have no problem and/or does not include ALL of the requirements indicated above, it may be returned back to the customer
and will not be processed.
