8. The sway bar can now be removed from the vehicle through careful manipulation and by sliding the sway bar

through the right side of the vehicle. It may take a few attempts to slide the bar out of the car.
Installation
1. Install the QA1 sway bar through the right side wheel
opening, the same way the OEM bar was removed. Once the QA1 sway bar is in where the left end of the bar must be rotated up and over the subframe, twist the bar so that the sway bar is on top of the steering tie rod and continue pushing the sway bar all the way into place. Now with care, rotate and position the left tie rod end over the sway bar. This step may take a few attempts to accomplish, be patient and take your time.
2. Apply the supplied grease liberally on the supplied
sway bar bushings. Install the bushings on the sway bar then using the clamps from the kit, mount the sway bar to the frame. Figure 1.
3. Straighten the steering wheel to the center position.
4. Rotate the left tie rod end so the taper is pointing up and reconnect it to the left spindle. Torque the nut to the
OEM specifications.
5. Attach the lower sway bar link to the QA1 sway bar
and tighten to OEM specification. The QA1 sway bar has three end link mounting locations. Install the end links in the rear most hole for a softer sway bar or the front most hole for a stiffer sway bar. See Figure 2
6. Replace the right front wheel and torque the lug nuts
to the OEM specifications.
7. Lower the vehicle and check for any binding or
interference between suspension, brake components, end-link assemblies and QA1 sway bar.
8. Test drive the vehicle, listening for noises. Retorque all
hardware after test drive.
To further upgrade your suspension, use other QA1 suspension products such as coil-overs, shocks, struts, springs,
K-members, torque arms, panhard rods, sub-frame connectors, strut tower braces, rod ends, sway bars, tubular
control arms, spherical bearings, carbon fiber driveshafts and more. For more information, please visit www.QA1.net.
