TOOLS AND SUPPLIES REQUIRED
• Floor jack and jack stands • Tire Chocks • Lug wrench
• Grease gun • 18mm socket and combination wrench •Blue Loctite™
Removal of Stock Arm
1. With the vehicle on a level surface, place tire chocks in front of and behind the front tires.
2. Support the rear of the car on jack stands and remove the rear wheels.
3. Place a floor jack under the differential and lift up slightly to remove tension from the trailing arm bolts - make sure not
to lift the car off the jack stands. Note: Keep the jack stands supporting the car during the complete removal and
installation procedure.
4. Remove the bolts retaining the trailing arm support bracket. Two bolts can be reached from the undercar; the third bolt
is accessed under rear seat. The rear seat lower cushion is retained by two clips at the front of the cushion.

Installation of QA1 Trailing Arm
1. Install the QA1 trailing arm into trailing arm support bracket. Install the OEM bolt in the same direction as it was
removed. Use Blue Loctite™ and torque bolt to 90 lb. ft.
2. Reinstall the trailing arm support bracket and trailing arm on the vehicle. Use Blue Loctite™ on the threads and torque
to 70 lb. ft. The trailing arm should then pivot smoothly.
3. Pivot the trailing arm into position over the OE bushing. Install the rear bolt in same direction as removed.
4. Place one drop of Blue Loctite™ on clean threads and torque the nut to 90 lb. ft.
5. Although the QA1 Trailing Arm is pre-lubed, finishing the installation by lubing the front bushing with a grease gun is a
good idea. Be sure to replace the dust caps on the zerk fittings to prevent dirt and corrosion from damaging the fitting.
CHECK ALL NUT AND BOLT TIGHTNESS AFTER FIRST 10 MILES.
