Installation:
1. Carefully set the strut tower brace on to the strut towers. Center the brace in the vehicle; be sure to leave enough
material at both strut towers end plates to allow for drilling and bolting. Make sure the brace is centered on the strut towers. Carefully mark the bolt holes using the punch or marker and drill the holes in the strut towers.
2. Bolt the brace in place using the supplied 1” button head cap screws, and washers.
3. Using the strut brace as a guide mark the holes in the firewall with a punch or marker and drill the holes.
4. Slip the firewall nut plate into the cowl with the hardened washers and spacers. Temporarily use the 3/8” hex head bolts
to retain the nut plate in place. Bolt the nut in place using the ¼” button head bolt, washers and locking nut. Remove the 3/8” hex head bolts and install the strut tower brace using the long button head cap screws in the firewall brace.
5. Trim the plastic firewall cover to fit with the strut tower brace and reinstall.
6. Reinstall the plastic cowl cover and wiper blades and be sure to reconnect any items taken off during installation.
7. Check for interference with wiring, throttle cable, transmission kick down cable, and hoses.
