Phenomenon
No picture and sound
No sound
Remote Control not working
AC adapter or automobile adapter is improperly connected. Power switch is off.
Audio volume is off or in "mute" cond­ition. Press VOL+
Check Remote Control Battery and make sure it is installed correctly. Battery may not have power or signal is blocked.
Reason

Don't knock or press the LCD surface.
HIGH VOLTAGE INSIDE! DO NOT dismantle the unit for your own safety.
LCD may have a few color dots, which is common for the matrix display technology, and doesn't indicates defects or fault.
