Donotusevolatileliquids,suchasaerosolspray,neartheDVDplayer.Donotleaveany plasticproductsincontactwiththeDVDplayerforalongperiodoftime.Theywillleavemarkson thefinish. ThetopandrearpanelsoftheDVDplayermaybecomewarmafteralongperiodofuse. Thisbehaviourisnormal.
WhentheDVDplayerisinuseandtheengineisoff,donotturnontheforalongtime. Doingso,youmayrunthebatterytowhereyourcarwillnotstart.
IfyoudonotusetheDVDplayerforalongperiod,theunitmaynotfunctionproperlyinthe future.TurnonandusetheDVDplayeroccasionally.

Whenyouwanttoviewadisc,turnonthemonitorandselectthevideoinputconnectedtothe DVDplayer. Whenyouwanttoenjoythesoundofdiscsfromtheaudiosystem,turnontheaudiosystemand selecttheinputconnectedtotheDVDplayer. Forconnectiondetails,see"Connections".

Placethediscintheslot,thediscwillgointotheslotautomatically.Donotpushthediscintothe slotfast,doingsomaycausetheloadertomalfunction.
Thediscspinsandplaybackstarts. IfyouinsertaDVDdiscthatcontainsatitlemenu,orinsertaPBC-equippedVIDEOCD, amenuscreenmayappear.
