-CAUTION: DO N OT USE THIS I NVERTER WITH THE FOLLOWI NG
•Small battery operated a ppliances su ch as RECHA RGEABLE FLA SHLIGHTS, S OME RECHARGEABLE S HAVERS and NIG HT LIGHTS th at are plug ged directl y into as RE CEPTACLE TO RECHARGE.
•BATTERY CHARGES us ed with cer tain power tool batter y packs. The se chargers will have a WARNING LABEL sta ting that D ANGEROUS VO LTAGE ARE PRESENT AT THE CH ARGERS BATTERY TERMINALS.
-WARNING:
Batteries cont ain corrosi ve materials and presen t an Energy Hazard. To prev ent irritat ion and burns, wear pr otective we ar and cloth ing, and ta ke special care to ens ure no meta l tools or personal objec ts contact the battery terminals.
Using the inver ter
Using the Power cord with c igarette ligh ter plug
A: Connect the cigarette lighter plug adapter to power cord . B .Plug the po wer cord i nto the powe r cord port on pyle vi ew inverter C: Insert the cigarette l ighter plug into the 12 V outlet D. Plug an AC pr oduct into t he three-pr ong AC recept acle and th e led light s blue.
Caution :
Ensure your pr oduct draws 80watts or less of con tinuous AC po wer. To avoid disc harging the vehicle batter y, always remo ve the inve rter from th e lighter s ocket when not in use.
Using the powe r cord with airplane powe r plug
A .Plug the powe r cord into the power cord port o n pyle view inverter B: Insert the airplane po wer plug in to the 12V outlet D.
Inverter oper ation
1. When proper ly connecte d to a 12V o utlet , the light will turn blue , indicati ng the inve rter is rea dy 2 . Plug the AC product into the AC outle t or USB po rt .
-The LED ind icators
A. Blue : It i ndicates th e inverter i s power on, B. BLUE FAILS TO LIGHT: It indic ates the inv erter shutd own caused by low volt age, overlo ad, or excessive temp erature.
CAUTION:
•Do not connec t to AC DISTRI BUTION WIRI NG. The inve rter is des igned for c onnection d irectly to standard elect rical and e lectronic eq uipment.
•Do not connec t the inver ter to house hold or RV AC distributio n wiring.
•Do not connec t the inver ter to any AC load circui t in which the neutral conductor is connecte d to ground (earth) or to the negative of DC (battery ) source.
BATTERY OPERATING TIM E
The vehicle ba tteries are not intende d for const ant deep di scharge, th ey are desi gned to pro vide brief periods of very hig h current ne eded for en gine starti ng. It is s trongly rec ommended to start the vehicle every hour or two to recharge battery be fore its ca pacity drop s too low. Op erating the inverter from a vehicle b attery until the low vo ltage shutd own will sh orten the b attery’s lif e.
The inverter c an operate whether or n ot the vehi cle’s engin e is running , but the n ormal volta ge drop that occurs du ring starti ng may trigg er the inve rter’s low voltage sh utdown feat ure.
The use of a d eep dischar ge battery i s strongly advised for longer ope rating time s. Its capa city should be sele cted based on the desir ed operatin g time.
PROTECTION SYMPTOMS PROTECTION
The low voltag e battery ( bel0w DC 10V ) The unit auto shutdow n. The Blue LED turns off.
The high input voltage (o ver DC 15.6V ) The uni t auto shutd own The overload The B lue LED tu rns off The overheat
Troubleshootin g SYMPTOM A: NO AC POWER OUTPU T , THE GREEN TURNS OFF
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Pyle vie w Inverter . The Pyle view Inverte r will pow er a wide v ariety of household or e lectronic a ppliance rel iably from the 12V vol t in your v ehicle or b oat ,or dir ectly from a 12volt battery to serve . Such as lap top compute rs, digital /video cam era , Mp3 p layer ,cell phones ,Ipod TM, Bla ckberry TM and etc. Please pay you r special a ttention to all CAUTION and WARNING statements . Improper use of this inverter can c ause person nel injury, pr operty damag e
-WARNING
•Shock Hazard. Keep away from childre n.
•The PNVU400 Generates t he same pote ntially let hal AC power as normal h ousehold wa ll outlet. Treat it with th e same resp ect that You wo uld do to an y AC outlet.
•The PNVU4 00 is d esigned for indoor use only and n ot recommen ded for use with induct ive loads, such as flo rescent lam ps, compres sors & pumps.
•Ensure to mai ntain at le ast 2-inch ( 5cm) air sp ace on all sides of th is inverter, as its hous ing may became uncomfo rtably warm , reaching 1 40 F (60 C) under exte nded high p ower.
•Disconnect po wer to the inverter whe n it is not in use.
•Do not expose this inver ter to water, rain, snow or spray.
•Do not insert foreign ob jects into t his inverte r’s AC outle ts.
•Do not leave this invert er or any de vice operat ing unatten ded, to avo id property damage pot entially.
•Do not use or place this inverter ne ar flammabl e materials or any pla ces, which accumulate flammable fume s.
•Do not connec t this inve rter to powe r utility AC distributio n wiring un der any cir cumstance.
•Check the inp ut and outp ut connector s of this i nverter are tight regu larly. The loos e connectio ns can generate h armful heat and /of dam age the inv erter or po wer source.
-CAUTION
•Do not connec t any AC produ ct to this inverter, who se neutral conductor i s connected to ground.
•Do not expose this inver ter temperat ure in exce ss of 100 F (40 C).
•This inverter must be co nnected only to batteri es with a n ormal outpu t voltage o f 12 Volts. Th is unit will not opera te from a 6 -Volt battery and will be damaged if it is conn ected to a 24-Volt batter y.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
SUGGESTION
AC product connected is rated at more than
120watts; overload shutdown occurs
Use pro duct with a po wer rating of less th an
120watts
Peak power has caused overload shutdown even
though AC product connected is rated at less than 120 watts
Product exceeds inverter’s surge capability. Use a
product with peak power of less than 240W
Lighter socket or 12 volt outlet may require ignition
to be switched on
Turn ignition key to accessory position
Poor contact with lighter socket or 12 volt outlet
Press inverter firmly into the lighter socket. Make
sure socket is clean.
Vehicle battery is discharged
